Thanks for that DoomBuggies link regarding the Hatbox Ghost. I remember hearing rumblings a while back about this potentially coming to our HM. I have to say I would love to see it. Lutz doesn't say it is only coming to DL, so my guess is either he doesn't know whether it's coming to WDW or it IS coming to WDW. If he knew it weren't coming, he'd make a point of stating it, since he seems to have an agenda against WDW (although his information usually is pretty accurate).

This is gonna happen. It's a lock from what I've been told.

Yea. There are still so many effects that were supposed to be added.
It's been WAY too long since WDI was up there, though. I'm worried, even if there is a spot up there waiting for him.

And yes, we need some more effects in there. That shrinking effect for the stretching room most of all.:D
A year ago it was a given - now I`m not sure. It is being played as the west coasts `Constance` level upgrade to the attic. Put it in WDW where it was planned originally and it would fight for attention with Constance.
That is true, as they are very close together.

But then again, why that spot in the first place?

Move him to the BEGINNING of the scene...It would make more sense with the pictures...and the axe...

omg omg omg omg, maybe thats him telling them what they must do for star tours 2.0?

bingo

Funny story, I was at Universal City Walk last weekend and in one of the restuarants I overheard a Universal Creative guy (there version of imagineers) talking on the phone about how J.K.Rowling wants something a certain way. I love when the creative types exert there power (like Lasseter at Disney) it ensures a quality product in the long run.

I don't know for sure but I would assume he is just as demanding.

Theres a legendary tale that he got into a fight with Tony Baxter over the giant snake in the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Lucas's argument was that a giant snake doesn't fit in the Indiana Jones mythos and that it would be too scary for the kiddies. Tony wanted the snake because he said it would look cool. Disney sided with Tony and Lucas hasn't worked with Disney ever since...UNTIL NOW!

Interesting, that begs the question what will happen this time? Will they let Mr. Baxter anywhere near Mr. Lucas, or have they learned their lesson? Just out of curosity who is the lead imagineer on the new star tours?

Well Evan I have never heard this story either but alas that doesn't mean anything. But I would have thought it would of been the exact opposite story. Tony didn't want the snake, thought it'd scare the kids, and George was like the snake is an intrical part of the Indy mythology it has to be here. Because as I'm sure you know snakes are a very very important aspect of Central and South American culture. I mean I'd compare snakes to the egyptains cats

The controversy was over the SIZE of the snake. Its a giant in the ride almost like a fantasy creature and Lucas felt it didn't belong in the more realistic Indiana Jones Universe.
