Tonight was the season premier. Did anyone else watch it? Anyone have any favorite houseguests? Big Brother definitely went for looks this year with the cast.

what do you think of the new "twist"? its kinda tricky! i really like how the house is now 2 levels and the HOH room is pretty awesome!

I actually like some aspects of this season, and some things not. I love the house, and love how they are all in one bedroom. It would've been better if everyone went in at first, so that some wouldn't get shafted with the bed situation.
I love the mural on the upstairs wall, as well as the spiral staircase.
The challenge seemed interesting tonight, could have been a bit better for the HoH though.
Favorite people this season: the firefighter and the HoH.
I can't wait to keep up with this show, and see how the "couples" thing turns out.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the "couples" thing and that's where they go. Maybe they were told ahead of time and finally found a time to go there? Or maybe they really did think about it and searched everywhere.
I can't wait to see what happens.
As far as the boot, I hope Ashlea goes. She got all ticked off and cried...it had been ONE DAY and that happened. And I really think the guy deserves a chance. He really was a target going in there, and I find that very upsetting. Like one of the ladies said, he might be from Iraq, a muslim, and anything else, but he seemed really nice.

I signed up for the free 14 day Real player with 24/7 Big Brother access. I have to say, I was bored to death after 5 minutes. I love the show and now can appreciate the editing they do on it. Does anyone know why there was no show tonight?

I thought Big Brother USA was really ahead of ours. Here in Brazil we have just finished BBB (Big Brother Brasil) 5. My aunt paid for BBB 24/7, she would watch their parties all night long! What's this HOH about???

HoH, is the Head of Household. I don't totally remember what they do, cuase i havent watched it in awhile.

It's one person that nominates two people for eviction? Or there are two HOHs? Here there's the leader who nominates one person, the group votes for the second. But there's the angel as well, and this one has the power to give someone immunity, but not for him/herself. So, depending on who you save, you can put yourself on "the shooting wall" (I don't know how to say it in English, but that's what they say) for eviction. Both the leader and the angel are chosen every week, in competitions. You can be the leader or the angel as many times as your luck allows you.
Well, here there is another challenge between nomination and eviction for the Power of Veto. With Power of Veto you can veto a nomination if you wish. It is rarely used.

Ashlea is the first person voted out of Big Brother 6. The vote was 9-2 for her eviction. They also revealed partners tonight. The firefighter won HoH.

Look for Kaysar and Janelle to be put up on the block. I caught part of the food comp. on the live feeds. A lot of gross out stuff with vomiting.

Here, house guests decide the two people who are gonna be voted by the audience. We can vote by phone, cell phone message or on the website. So house guests have to pay attention on the way people here are voting, to plan their game, like who is stronger in popularity than who. That's why that guy won the prize at Big Brother 4. People in the house wanted him out, but he kicked everyone out one by one.
