I know it is a little early this year but I had some extra time this morning so I thought I would go ahead and start it, THE OFFICIAL 2007 OCTOBER ROLE CALL. OK guys, let's hear it. What is the date of your trip? Who will be in your traveling party? Where are you staying? Are you going to the MNSSHP and if so, which night? Are you and the kids dressing up for the party? Feel free to share any details of your upcoming trip or any details from past October trips to share with everyone else!!!

To start us off, we are going Oct 6-14. And for the second time, we are staying off-site. Last year we rented a house for the week with another family and it was really nice. This year we are going with a different family and decided to split the cost of a rental house again with them. Our "Disney traveling party" actually consist of 3 families and a total of 14 people. We will all be going to the MNSSHP on the 11th. A little too early for the kids to pick out costumes but when they do, I will let you know.

I will start a list of the Halloween party attenders. It's fun to meet others from the forums. It was my honor to meet IMAMOUSE last year. She is such a sweet person and it was great to put a face with a name. And if any body has any pictures from past October trips and MNSSHParties, I think it would be fun to post them here!

Hey Sissa,

It's been great!! A little on the warm side but a great breeze blowing. Had two short showers Sunday and 1 short one today, but we've timed them perfectly all 3 times by being inside watching a show. Crowds have been very managable. Rode TT and M:S twice, Soarin' once and everything else at least once. Overall, very nice time. Suppose to be a little cooler later this week. Goin to MK tomorrow for a while, but sleeping a little later. We opened and closed AK and Epcot both days.

We're headed to bed, very tired. Talk to yall tomorrow.

Funny story... Last year roughly this time frame... we left for our trip on 10/14 and when we stopped @ McDonalds in Tallahassee for breakfast and a rest we met up w/ a group from the LA area also making the same trip.

Then on the bus one day to MK we met up w/ a group that lived 4 streets away from us.

Makes you wonder just how many folks from your area are traveling to the same place at the same time...

I know. Weird, isn't it? My son and I sat next to a family from our town while in AK on one trip and then, this past summer, we were eating in Rose & Crown and a former co-worker walked in with this family. He had left La. and moved to South Carolina and I did a double-take when I saw him again. I always start humming "It's a Small World" when stuff like that happens.

And I'm now into single digits - 9 days!! :sohappy:

Just been on Virgin Atlantic website checking info on our flight and it told me 1DAY 16HOURS 45MINUTES until my flight, but I need to add another 9 hours before I land in Orlando!!

I'm so excited!!

I was getting off Soarin' on Wednesday afternoon when I thought a girl on th ride looked like one of the campers from the summer camp I've worked at for the past two summers. As the exit line moved, I was able to get a better look at her face & I'm almost positive that it was one of my campers.

Two years ago this October we were leaving MK at the end of the night, wearing our vacation shirts that had our last name on the back of them.
We were waiting to get onto the boats for FW, when we heard someone calling out our name.

It turns out it was one of my dad's cousins that he hadn't seen since he was little. I took a picture of the two of them together.
I don't think they would have even recognized each other had it not been for the shirts!


It always seems that we run into someone we know every trip.
