Wow, I'm surprised by how high up the Cardinals players are up in the list.

Jim Edmonds is in first place to play outfield! :sohappy: He's the greatest outfielder ever!!! Scott Rolen definately deserves to be in first place for third basemen. He is simply fantastic.

I think visitors to the All-Star Game will feel "cheaped out", construction-wise. All of this construction in Detroit, which clearly won't be open for the game, is basically only in preparation for the Super Bowl. It took us about an extra 45 minutes, including detours, to get to a destination in Detroit yesterday (of which its travel time normally takes about 10 minutes...).
To those of you coming to Detroit, be prepared for the condition of the roads.

Congrats Bobby...great display!

Congratulations to the AL...maybe we can WIN the World Series in FENWAY instead of being "away" this year! ;)

Well, that was one sucky game. They should've given the whole pitching duties to Carpenter. He seemed to be the only pitcher out there who knew what he was doing. Heck, he was the only one that cared! But I'm proud of Ekstine though, he did a standout job as the short stop.

It would of been so much better if they just had the Cardinals vs. the A.L., then we would of gotten homefield advantage. lol

HEY NOW!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Our Jimmy and Bobby both got hits. It's not our fault someone else couldn't hit them home!!!!

Greatest outfielder ever? :veryconfu Now I believe that my friend is the over statement of the century. I mean he can obviously cover a lot of ground out there but his arm is clearly the weakest part of his game.

I mean, don't get me wrong he's a terrific player and has one of the sweetest swings in baseball but he is definately not the greatest outfielder ever. I believe that honor clearly goes to Willie Mays.
