The night I fell in the Magic Kingdom

My sister hurt her knee and was in a wheel chair for half of the day. It was great, we didn't even ask for one and the nurse insisted that she used it. After a while her knee felt 100% but the Spectro traffic was horrendous getting from tomorrow land to the other side to the first aid. My fried Kreed decided to relieve her and he took it and he forced me to go for a ride. It was all fun until I wanted to get up but couldn't because I then had to look hurt so I didn't get in trouble LOL. He finally decided to ride around in it, first we lost him and there was no way he could just get up and start walking. Later on we finally decided we had to get rid but couldn't get it to the First Aid it so he wanted to ditch it near the bathroom so a cast member would find it but there were cast members all over and he didn't want to fake a miracle. Before the parade started he decided to get in the crowd and push it off near where the parade started so a cast member would find it and he wouldn't get the heat so all went wrong and all you see is a wheel chair randomly ghost ride across the road. Didn't work as planned but it was a funny sight.

Oh Dave, you must not know fosse...

He could choke and would sue his own eipglottis for not maintaining a safe work environment.

Oh fosse and I have crossed paths before.

I just keep kicking the hornets nest.

Guess I should sue those hornets.

as long as your not one of those sue-happy people I guess I can see the humor in it. :animwink:

glad to see that you joined the cartoon strip, and see why it's so darn funny! There was/is no need to sue.....I mean they offered to pay for anything that I needed if I was hurt. (EMS ride to ER, ER visit, XRays whatever was needed) thank God I only got a bruised knee. :animwink:

I know what you mean about sue-happy people, and I'm sure that's what they thought when I fell, but the people at WDW were great!

seriously, how clutsy do you have to be to slip on a pickle? I would be embarassed to post something like that. life isn't a cartoon, I've never seen someone actually be taken down by a banana peel or a pickle in this case.

I just got back from 6 days in WDW with 3 teenagers, and I wanna tell ya about the night I fell in the Magic Kingdom.

It was Saturday Nov 13th around 9:30pm in

We just ordered the Angus Burger, and were by the "fixin's bar" when it happened. I slipped on a pickle! I am happy to say that I fell correctly nevertheless, which is why I landed on my knee, and I can thank my TaeKwonDo instructor for teaching falls in class now!

Well after it happened I just sat on the floor in pain, and cried which is why my teenage son ran to the cook, and said "you need to get help now!" He was scared his mommy was hurt :(

Both the cook, and the manager Jeremy came to my aid with ice.

It was pretty bad, and I was unable to get up off the floor with out severe pain, so they had to call the EMT.......wow this is fun now!

Well all was great after they wrapped my knee with ice, and of course the rest of the night I was stuck in a wheel chair.

I just want to say that it was a crazy night, and the manager Jeremy was great!!! My kids loved the fact that the rest of the night we got right on the rides due to the injury, but since it was EMH until 2am it didn't really matter.

Good story, same thing happened to my mom, except she was at Universal Studios!

In this litigation focused world this story is like a breath of fresh air, and it is so refreshing to hear about an honorable person doing the right thing! Importantly, I'm very glad you :sohappy: are okay and were able to still enjoy your vacation.

Were you at Jurassic Park River Adventure? Because that's where I witnessed someone fall near the Splash Zone.

I dont remember, I was 5 but it was in Islands of Adventure, and I remember she fell and me and my sister argued about who would get to ride in the wheelchair! :ROFLOL:
