The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! :mad: iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay! :(

We did the Family Magic Tour. We did this a few summers back and had a great time! My wife read that it was changed a bit, so we wanted to try it again. Glad we did, because it was a fantastic time!! :p

Here we are meeting our tour guide, Molly (who was awesome), and the other family who would complete this adventure with us. They were from Oklahoma. We had a nice time chatting as we helped Peter Pan recover what the Lost Boys had stolen the night before.

As you can tell from the pictures, the tour takes you all over the Magic Kingdom!! About mid-way through the scavenger hunt, we went on Winnie the Pooh to search for clues. This was new from the last tour we did. We didn't do any rides last time.

After the ride, we had a special meet and great with Wendy!! This was also new!

And after we recovered everything that was stolen, Molly told us we had to return them to the "Boss." So, we went behind closed doors and met the man!

I don't want to say everything we had to find and everywhere we went in case you want to try this tour. If you have younger kids, this is a great way to spend about 2 hours in the Magic Kingdom!!
