If they really want this to be a success they should bring back the original Juan and Only's restaurant! Oh yeah ... and the coupons from the Rita Aero guide too ... :slurp:

These pics look like a big improvement over the tacky old decor of both these hotels. Although it does look a bit like any trendy new hotel in any West Coast or East Coast big city, it fits in nicely with the contemporary architecture of the buildings. The Polynesian is always going to be decorated in a polynesian motif, but with the Swan and Dolphin they really need to keep up with the times and decorate it like a modern trendy hotel in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, etc.

The other good news is that the President of all Starwood hotels is now Matt Ouimet, former President of Disneyland and savior from the horrible Paul Pressler/Cynthia Harriss era. With Ouimet now calling the shots, I have no doubt the customer service at the Westin will meet or exceed the Grand Floridian. (Although the last time I went, the Grand Floridian was already worn around the edges and the CM's weren't very polished themselves). :cool:

Hey Scott!!! So the next time I am there, I promise to make time so you can take me on a tour of the hotel- I wish we could have done it the last time Paul and I were down. Hopefully you will have enough time to hang out in January :) The pictures look great
