The new Free Dining Plan offer

Ok, so I see that they're offering free Dining from 11/29-12/17 this year. That's perfect, seeing as how we will be there during that time. My questions are as follows.

#1 We already have our package booked, including the dining plan with table service. Can I call them up and have our package modified?

#2 The offers says it's for a 5 day/night stay. We will be there for 10 days. Does it only cover 5 days or is it 5 days minimum?

#3 In order to get the dining plan with table service, it says you need to stay at a moderate resort. Do you think we can keep our Pop reservations and just pay the difference in plans?

I think that pretty much sums it all up.

1. Yes, as long as your dates/resort are available with the promotion.

2. Neither. 5 nights is just for the sake of having an example price. There is a 3 night minimum and a 14 night maximum, so you are fine.

3. Yes.

You shouldn't have any problems switching your package over. As long as you are within the window and you don't fall within the blackout dates all you will have to do is pay the difference between the two plans.

Great. I just got it fixed and with the difference being paid to upgrade to Dining Plus, we're saving $600. That's enough to pay for the XMas party tickets and possibly even upgrade to park hopper.

We are staying 11/22-11/29, so I called Tuesday to see if we could get credit for the 22nd-24th for free dining since we have the dining plan. They gave it to me for the whole stay! They actually had to give me credit since I now overpaid. Very cool. I even told them that I'm staying Thanksgiving week to tell them they were making a mistake and they said no, that they are giving it to me for the whole week. It was winning a small lottery!

Sometimes you just have to check in by the end of the date range. Your reservation can stretch into dates that are part of a blackout for the offer.

Though with room-only discount rates this doesn't really happen anymore, as they now charge on a per-night basis, so you'd have some of your stay at a discount, and some not.

Can you tell me how much it would cost to upgrade our dining plan to the deluxe from the disney dining plan, so that we would have breakfast too.
Thank you from Canada.:xmas:

If you're talking about a 2009 trip, the upgrade is $32 per person per night for an adult, $10 for a child. That's the difference between the regular DDP and the Deluxe DDP.

I don't have the prices handy for the 2010 DDP.
