As time goes i am getting more and more exiting by the new wizardign world scheduald for 2010 in IOA. i have read all those sites like screamscape and mugglenet for any news about planned attraction etc... We all know the dueling dragons and unicorn are rethemd and we all know that there is a major "state of the art" e icket attraction for hogwarts castle... as i searched for any information about the attraction i encountered two different rumors.

1- The first rumor i heared from screamscape and "Centeral florida on demand" is that the new attraction is going to be a "Robocoaster" dark ride, snaking through scenes.

2- the other rumor i heard from patient number something and several sites is that the ride is going to be an interactive dark ride where guests use wands to cast "spells" and effect the ending of the attraction.

Those two rumors are really different... so what do you guys think? What will the ride be? Rumor one or rumor two... or maybe a combined thing or maybe even all those rumors are false and it will be something inteirely different?

Any opinions? Or if someone has actuall knowledge... even better.

Are you sure it isnt bring used?

Emma watson slipped from her mouth that the trio filmed a short bit for an "Interacive" Attraction... and there was also a rumor about an interactive walkthrough attraction... I can imagine walking through various rooms each teaching a different spell...

So if it is the robocoaster... what is the interactive thing emma mentioned?

Well the queue line for the big "e-ticket" is going to be a walkthrough/tour of Hogwarts so that might be what your hearing about.

If it is the robocoaster it will probably be a robot dark ride... The rumor states it will be snaking through more than a dozen scenes...

now in a rollercoaster there is no such thing as scenes... so it got to be a dark ride... i think a spiderman style ride with a robocoaster system.

From what I've heard it's actually going to be both. I talked to an acquaintance who works at Universal and when I told him all I've heard about the project, he told me I was extremely close to being right on the money. No matter what it ends up as, it will be the single most advanced dark ride ever built and I cannot wait to ride it.

Another rumor i heard is that there will be some kind of a show in the wizardign world of harry potter... this is the only attraction (there are also,DD, Flying unicorn and the kuka ride) that has absoloutly nothing about it... does this rumor even has a basis?

They have some kind of MagiQuest or something at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle. The price made it pretty much a "Not in this lifetime" opportunity. If it was free as part of the park gate, then it may be worth trying.

It will be free to play, other than the cost of the wand. But you will be able to keep the wand once the game is done.

Robocoaster per say or a robo dark ride?

It isn't an actual roller coaster, if that's what you mean. It's a dark ride that utilizes a robotic arm. Robocoaster is just the given name of the ride system. It could be completely stationary and they would still call it that. Kuka does offer a model that runs along actual coaster track, but Universal didn't buy it. As far as I'm aware, no one has.
