Trip Report The Never-Ending Summer Of Disney *COMPLETED*

Seriously?!!

Can you believe it??

This is jaw-dropping news!!

If only.

Two things in life give me the blues ~ the end of summer and the end of a Disney vacation. A never-ending summer of Disney would be a dream come true! But I am certainly happy to “settle” for a WDW vacay in June....in July....and in August. And rather than write three separate trip reports (and annoy @amjt660 when my *COMPLETED* report really isn’t ) I decided to take @Rista1313 ’s suggestion and post an ongoing travelogue, à la @blgauger style.

So let’s get started!

Vacation #1
June 16-24, 2018
Tuvalu, Woody and Em get pampered at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Was there rain? Any snarky Cast Members? Ridiculous guest behavior? A Magic meet-up? How many times did we watch Happily Ever After?

You’ll have to follow along to find out.

The only reason I "Liked" your ankle deep water post was because I totally approve of those shoes for Disney!! I have keen sandals that allow me to wade through a Disney monsoon! Kudos on the footware!

Haven't you noticed that the biggest MK puddle is always right as you get off the monorail and go into the MK security? That's where we've had the worst time!

I agree! Then we would have someone to visit there while we are at the happiest place in the world !

Jealous that you are back again! It's a bummer that you arrived on the day we departed. I would have loved to meet you and Em. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet some day.

Em and I would have loved meeting you too. I believe this is now two trips where we have been thisclose to meeting each other. If your daughter does the DCP and you get an AP, you bet we will MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I hope you don’t get blisters! My feet always blister if it monsoons and I have sandals on down there.

No blisters, thankfully. But my Tevas were still wet eight hours later!

How awesome that you have had 4 magic meet ups so far this summer! Keep them coming!

I've really enjoyed the Magic meets. Nothing planned for next month so I'll be depending on pixie dust for more encounters.

Thursday's flooding was unbelievable....the worst I've experienced since my MNSSHP night in September 2015. Em said we had the most days of black sky (which inevitably brought rain) that she can remember.

Maybe I need to try a pair. I hate tennis shoes my feet get so hot but after getting half dollar blisters on the bottoms of my feet from rain I go with hot rather than pain! Glad you didn’t get any.
Those grand babies sure make it hard on us Disney grandparents don’t they? I dread living my little fella so bad!
