Considering there are three more to come out, I'm sure he wants as much Avatar reference as possible.
Four more. He has a prequel he wants to make too.

I wish he would just make Battle Angel already!

PANDORA is the World of the Na'vi (and other symbiotic organisms) not the World of the Avatar. The Avatar are the human-Na'vi hybrids. So in essence PANDORA: The World of Avatar would imply that the AVATAR moved in and made the world theirs. If they go that route it should be PANDORA: The World seen in the movie AVATAR or PANDORA: The World of really cool symbiotic organisms and their spirit counterpoints. I vote PANDORA.

AVATAR is the name of the film in this context. Not the name of the project from the film. The public knows the name of Avatar as a film, but Pandora alone could refer to anything. Maybe a box.

I wish the mods could/would change the name of the forum to Pandora instead of avatar land. Unify the official title with a more realistic park area.

I'd actually prefer it to be for the entire Animal Kingdom expansion (so it includes the FoLK move, the nighttime spectacular and any other projects taking place in the same time frame since so much of it is interrelated.)

The land is themed to Pandora. End of story. Look at the models.

And we all know how concepts change from initial model to final product. (I.e. Pixie Hollow)
While much of it is modeled off of Pandora, what's not to say that the boat and or simulator ride will not have "non-pandora" elements in it.

I'm probably going to get booed for this post, but AK still needs educations value for every non-educational new attraction. That said, Pandora should have an exhibition about why the elements of Pandora that make life possible there, or any planet or moon in the Universe.

I was agreeing with you, then you said that last line.
BOOOOOOOOOO!
Although maybe we can get an educational attraction in DinoLand or something...

No, I want an educational exhibit at Pandora!

The Kepler Space Telescope just finished its mission and discovered many earth-like planets that could have life. I want to see an exhibit about that, and why they think these planets support life!

I also enjoy learning while having fun.
Like learning not to drink and drive.
Fun.
Um... Not what I mean!

"You know, Pandora isn't a planet. It's a moon. But it's a make-believe moon. There might be real moons and planets like Pandora, but they are so far away that we just don't know yet. They did, however, launch a telescope into a space that did detect thousands of planets that orbit suns, like our own. They believe some of these may have life! Let's take a look..."

Eh, it's a good lesson to teach your kids, but blending educational facts about the other potential moons in the universe with the mythical world of Pandora will just confuse them too much... hell, it even confuses me. I recommend that you take them to the Kennedy Space Center if you want them to learn about other moons. If you want your kids to learn something in Pandora, teach them how the rides work and how the artistry comes together with current technology in the theme park to make something beautiful. That's much more concrete and interesting (not to mention hands-on, which is exactly what Pandora will be) to a child when they set foot into a new environment. Exploration and how stuff works are the ways to learn in the amazing world of Pandora. Not far off moons. Otherwise you're just going to hear, "Dad, you know it's just a movie, right? But how do they make the plants glow and play music to you when you touch them?"
