*shrug* Don't think anyone has said for sure yet. Hope would be using audio tracks would sound better and be accepted more by guests, but eliminates any spontaneity/improv that would seem to benefit the Muppets.

Then maybe the same type of technology used for Monster, Inc. and Turtle Talk. Who knows?

For Monsters Inc, only the new characters are spontaneous voices, like Buddy Boyle or Mac and Cheese. Roz and Mike are always pre-recorded. In Turtle Talk, Dory is pre-recorded.

I understand that. In Turtle Talk, he's reacting to the children asking questions. In Monster's Inc., he's interacting with the audience. Both sound like the original characters. That's my point.

Only by Crush is the voice spontaneous is what I'm saying, and still, it's always off, and ruins the character integrity. Mike and Roz never interact with the audience. Their lines are always exactly the same. Only new characters interact, and even from show to show their voices are completely different.

Considering it took years to get used to the "new" Kermit after Jim Henson passed away, I don't see them using anyone else other than the voices currently being done. Unless they found a way to clone people....

This is Disney after all.

There's also an interactive Roz on the Monster's Inc ride at DCA. Sounds just like her but "she's" interacting with actual riders. Short of that, then, just whoever is doing the Muppets impersonate the voices the best they can.

Miss Piggy how has a completely different connotation in this election. But in the context of Disney, there is only one Donald.

He actually has a better temperament to be President than the other Donald.

Just watched a thing on periscope. Great theme song, really cute script that is informstivr and fun, i love the vaudeville style muppet style humour! The muppets can be a very successful franchise today if they stick to this type of schtick. Its funny and informative. I cant wait to see all the other versions.
