I still remember being at the park on July 4th (2 years ago) when the monarails collided. Basically no one knew why they had stopped running as Disney only released the press info the following morning.
First off, all of the mainstream attention was directed towards the ferries, which had everyone waiting for at least an hour in line. The bus situation was at least a bit better.
I must say though, Disney really does know how to handle crowd control well and keep everyone calm and reassured.
The scary thing is, I was an inch from boarding one of the monorails that collided.
