So… Small World is not ruined, right? I was worried so I skimmed a POV; looks surprisingly unchanged, from what I can tell. Coco looks nice. I didn’t notice the new Sherman Brothers verse.

Was on it earlier today. Coco scene looks really nice. The whole attraction looked great actually. Also my sister dropped 1k on her family to come to DL today only to find out Fantasyland closes at 4pm for a media/ private event. That’s crazy. Was not mentioned anywhere when purchasing the tickets.

Glad it looks great in person. That’s awful about Fantasyland closing early, unannounced. I don’t know how anyone goes to Disneyland for 1 (astronomically expensive) day and maintains their sanity.

Picked up this retro looking hat yesterday. Best part is it doesnt say “resort.” Don’t mind the flag floating in the air.

"... Early next year, Disney’s board is expected to name a new CEO to take the reins in late 2026, when Iger is scheduled to retire. D’Amaro is among the leading contenders. The co-chairs of Disney Entertainment, Dana Walden and Alan Bergman, also are in the running. So is ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro. Disney’s board has said it plans to consider external candidates as well. But observers believe that D’Amaro’s stock has been rising. ..."

You know, I’d welcome some Jungle Book references in Adventureland/ Jungle Cruise. The animals on JC are already cartoony. Give me Kaa up in a tree somewhere. The baby elephant with a wig somewhere in the bathing pool.
Are you referring to the 1967 animated version as your nod references or the 2016 live action movie? I ask because the nod here looks to be King Louie from the 2016 live action movie.

Yeah I’m saying 67. He kind of looks like a neat combo of both versions to me but definitely leans live action.

Here is a larger picture -

I'm just going based on the face, as this one has the same cheek folds as the live action version that the 1967 version didn't have.

Anyways, I'm all for adding more JB to Disneyland, either version. :)

My last few trips to DLR have been really great. I think it’s a combo of a few things… great weather, anticipation for the 70th, all the spruced up rides, Hyperspace Mountain, Plaza Inn etc but the biggest thing has to be that I haven’t park hopped to DCA in about 3-4 visits. There was a time where we almost never skipped park hopping. For our family and with DCA’s attraction roster i think we came to realize it’s usually not worth the trek over there. I’d rather just throw in a DCA heavy day/ DCA start day every 4-5 trips when we miss it. I’m sure all the new DCA attractions will help with this. As well as my daughter being older/ taller.
