Hot take: Most Disney coasters are not really that great. I’d rather Disneyland use its limited real estate for other types of attractions. Especially with Universal knocking it out of the park these days with their coasters.

*Disclaimer: I have not ridden Cosmic Rewind.
What I want is something to top Paris' Big Thunder Mountain, but I'm honestly not sure modern Disney can do it.

Disclaimer #2: I’ve only been to the U.S. parks.

But yeah, Big Thunder in Paris looks fantastic (especially the finale), if the POVs are to be believed. I’d of course be on board for something on that scale, if somehow Disneyland has the real estate and WDI has the ambition.

Realistically though, I’d rather see WDI focus on nailing the Coco and Avatar boat rides.

I don't personally need a new coaster at DLR, but it is striking that WDW has added a ton in recent years while Disneyland hasn't added any since 2001.

@mickEblu did you ever get on GhostRider before your Knott's pass expired?

I did! It was fun but it could have been a better experience if it weren’t for some TMI reason that had me a little on edge.

It's even better in the dark.

I can imagine! It’s just so hard to get it on it. That ride perpetually has a 2+ hour wait. A couple times I tried buying that single use Fast Lane and they either weren’t selling them via mobile or those little kiosks to purchase them weren’t working. For a non local Knotts is tough without Fast Lane.

It's a treat when we ride it. The line is forever. It's best to jump in line 5 minutes before closing.

Easiest way to get multiple rides on Ghostrider is to buy the earliest Boo-fet for KSF, you eat your meal, get into the park and you usually have 1 hour to kill until full opening and 30 min before the Haunt EE. Guess what’s open and has a walk on? Ghostrider, you can do so many laps.

Problem is you will lose your Boo-fet on the ride.

I don’t think Tron is coming to DLR. Seems like it’s not in the cards.

I think it is.

Haven’t seen the sun since Thursday or Friday. Starting to feel a little uneasy. Not sure how people live in Seattle or London but I guess human beings adapt don’t we? Glad my nephews birthday trip to DL got postponed from yesterday to next week.

I suspect they were found to be in violation of the TOS and got perma-banned from the site (I suspected long ago they were a reincarnation of Tror). Quite a few accounts have lately as the Mods have been purging many accounts found to be in violation of TOS, I'm guessing they got tired of cleaning up threads.
Who is Tror?
