I just got an ad with a link saying "trendy dresses for older women".

I'm not sure if I should feel offended or resigned.
That's nothing. When you hit 60 you'll start to get junk mail from cremation services.

I'm. Not. Kidding.

The first time I got one I was not happy. And there's multiple companies competing for the soon-to-be corpse.

Hey Neptune Society! Just to spite you, I'm going to pay someone to toss my body in a dumpster. It won't bother anyone. Given my neighborhood, there will probably already be one in there.

New to me Matterhorn concept art. Check out that village in front! I also see a boat ride in a canal that connects the lake in front of the castle with the Submarine Lagoon. I wonder if there’s a reason the track circling the base looks different from the bobsled track up top? Could it be another train circling the mountain?

Also no sign of Alice in the art, so I'm assuming this must be from around late 1956 - early 1957 judging by the inclusion of House in the Future?

Since we've had two large Park related announcements (HM refurb details and the CM dress code thing) from Disney already this week anyone betting on a third one by Friday?

If everything works out for our August trip, it looks like we have the opportunity to avoid LAX and fly into Burbank airport for the first time ever. Anyone have any experience with this airport? Anything I should know? Any transportation from this airport to the Disneyland resort that stands out against the others? TIA!

Burbank is a million times less of a hassle than LAX in practically every way and is way less crowded. LAX is a mess.

It’s nice and tiny and has two train stations nearby if you aren’t getting a car. The one that’s across the street from where you’d be only runs on weekdays from what I’m seeing

The further one is about a mile away but runs weekends. $10 per person to go anywhere on Saturday or Sunday, including Anaheim

Edit: free shuttle to/from station/airport

Then no matter which one of these you pick you would transfer at Union Station to the Orange County line

Then once you’re in Anaheim you could get to Disneyland for free from the train station but idk what your hotel plans are
