I mean “Evermore” was better than the entire Aladdin film. But may have originally been written for the animated BatB ?

To my knowledge, the only song that was originally written for the film that didn't make it in was "Human Again," which was later added to the Broadway production and the 2002 Special Edition of the original film.

I believe Menken/Ashman were pulled in to work on BATB after they had already done some work for Aladdin, and by that point, Ashman was dying, so it would track that there weren't a lot of deleted songs on the cutting room floor. If there were, they almost certainly would have been added to the Broadway Musical.

Oh that’s right. That was the one that was written for the animated film.

I have seldom been more angry and infuriated at a film than I was with the BATB remake. Just impossibly garish, unnecessary padding galore that doesn't go anywhere, and Emma Watson is many things but a good Belle is not one of them. The only thing I appreciated was that they decided to write new songs instead of shoehorning in songs from the Broadway show, thus admitting without saying it out loud that all of those unnecessary Broadway songs are awful.
Whatever audio engineer that sucked the life out of her singing did her no favors (regardless of whether she can actually sing or not). On the upside, I'm glad they wrote Evermore as it became my go-to audition song pretty quickly.

I miss Future Corps and its origin Drum and Bugle Corps. It's about 4 years old, its an encore piece that is barely rehearsed, but its Disney.

“Well of course it does silly, you then use the crank to make the scene move while humming World 1-1”

When I watched this video with my son, he couldn’t understand why the guy sniffed the game cartridge before putting it in the game system, I had to explain that he isn’t sniffing it, he’s blowing into it like we all used to do when the games would get glitchy! Lol
