IT'S A SMALL WORLD HOLLIDAY is the best holiday overlay in the park. It pefectly fits the attraction and adds to it unlike a certain overlay that over stays it's welcome in New Orleans Square.
I finally experienced this yesterday and I loved it so much! It was probably the highlight of my entire visit.

Unrelated, but does anyone know why they were evacuating everyone from Adventureland for a bit last night?

Got my Candlelight Parking Pass and VIP instructions today....

Lisa is over the moon about getting to go,

I am just hoping the weather is going to be great.

And looks like all systems are a GO for a trip back east in June. Starting at Cedar Point for its 150th, followed by Kings Island, Kennywood, Hershey Park, Dutch Wonderland, Dorney Park and Six Flags Great Adventure,,,,

Watched the first two episodes of The Mandalorian. First one was really good, second felt more like standard filler. We'll see how the show progresses. Besides the WDI showing, what else do y'all recommend on Disney+?

I liked both episodes but think I found the second one more entertaining. My one issue is with that “I have spoken” guy. He’s kind of coming off as an outdated character in a show that feels more modern. Every time he comes on screen I feel like I’m watching Neverending story or something.

Darby O’Gill (one of Disney’s all-time best) Blackbeard’s Ghost (the best of the Dean Jones comedies) Legend of the 3 Caballeros series (first time shown in U.S.) the one week available of the Mickey Mouse Club, every classic cartoon short and if you’ve never seen the Kim Possible animated series—The whole thing (it’s still great).

I too have seen the 2 episodes of the Boba Fett less Boba Fett show. My take is both episodes are entertaining but I don't get what enjoyment I am supposed to get out of this? What the purpose is, why am I watching this story? It feels like its stretching out a thin idea maybe that is why the episodes are short. There is not a lot of substance to it. Manalorian encounters a tough situation and fights a monster. that is the formula so far. I think it is obvious it is a female in the suit disguising her voice with a male voice modulator and this will eventually be revealed. If his little "child" friend turns out to be a clone my eyes are going to roll sooo far deep in my head because that would be soooo stupid. Entertaining but not great. I almost shut it off when it is shown he has his own carbonite machine. Reminded me of all the stupid fan service in Rogue One. This show though did help me put my finger on one thing that bugs me about Disney's Star Wars. Everyone feels like they are in a costume or cosplaying. In the OT and even the preguels I never felt that way. It felt like their clothes. Here, even the ot characthers in FORCE AWAKENS and LAST JEDI feel like they are cosplaying as their own characthers instead of being their charachters if that makes sense.

Aside from Steamboat Willie, are there really no black and white shorts available on Disney+? No Plane Crazy or The Skeleton Dance? Not a single Alice Comedy?
Not yet. But at least there are a lot of great classic color Mickeys: You can re-create the old Disneyland Fantasyland Theater lineup with The Band Concert, Mickey’s Trailer and Thru the Mirror! Hey, it’s a start.

Expecting today’s Disney to put a silent Alice comedy on D+ is asking just a bit too much from the poor old Monstrous Behemoth of a Company.

I imagine they might be waiting for Halloween season for Skeleton Dance. They probably figure most people will think of Steamboat Willie is the first Mickey short and so won't care if Plane Crazy is absent (and I don't know if most people in 2019 could handle silent cartoons). I don't feel like the Alice comedies will ever make it on because they are simultaneously primitive and obscure.

There are far too many people who simply dismiss anything that is in black and white (children especially. but many adults too), and for that reason I imagine B&W content will always be quite limited on D+.

I would love to give the public the benefit of the doubt, but I don't see a universe in which most of these things are discovered and loved by the public.

Make sure you stop at Knoebels for a full day too when you're out there. ~90 minutes from Hershey or Dorney and (IMO) far better than both, with a ton of great classic rides and good food too. With Phoenix, Twister, their own Haunted Mansion ride, a carousel where you can still grab for the brass ring, a few on site museums, and so on, it has an excellent line up of attractions. It's one of my favorite parks ever and far, far better than it appears on paper.

On the list for 2 days. I met one of the owners earlier this year at SFMM. Had a good long talk about the business. Great family that runs Knoebels.

I've always wanted to go to Knoebels. It's on my list as well as Hershey.
