That explains my memory lapse. Thanks!

Outside of the horrendous Tower of Terror poster, I find the DCA posters to be amazing. I might opine that they are better than DCA deserves.
Paradise Pier ones are all delightful but now outdated. Soarin's also pretty nice. But I agree, that Tower of Terror was atrocious. So undeserved. Grizzly River Run's definitely could've been better as could RSR.

Goofys Sky School and Little Mermaid are pretty nice.

Yep, shows that for all the doom and gloom being thrown around here that even though attendance has been soft it was offset by increased spending. A 7% increase is not panic time....

Too clarify- It says the 7% increase was primarily caused by Disneyland Paris, and that Paris's income was partially offset by decreased attendance stateside.

Then, it says the decreased attendance stateside was partially offset by increased food and merchandise spending. So basically, things weren't as bad at Disneyland as they could've been had people not bought as many kyber crystals. As the report said, the increase in consumer spending at Disneyland wasn't enough to fully compensate for the decreased attendance.

Disney didn't spend $1 billion on California Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge for Paris- a resort on the other side of the world- to get an increase in income. They didn't spend $1 billion to cause a decline in attendance at Disneyland.

A 7% increase is panic time when it could (and should) have been far, far higher. And it's certainly peanuts when you think about what Cars Land did for DCA just a few years ago, or what Pandora did for Animal Kingdom, or what a single attraction- Indiana Jones Adventure- did for Disneyland 24 years ago.

Is this increase in spending due to higher prices?

From the report, the increase in spending is from higher ticket prices and increased food, beverage, and merchandise spending.

I'd like to see the data ran on what attendance, food, and merchandise spending would have been had they not raised ticket prices. Or if they hadn't blocked out most AP's for the summer season.

So the gist is, we made a bunch of money from higher prices, but not what we wanted because attendance was down.

The gist is that the higher prices partially offset a decrease in cash flow for Disneyland. So they made less money than projected, but the resorts as a whole got a boost because Disneyland Paris has had a good few months.
