Sure! I was trying to stick with an alliterative title, but this works too.How about The Simpson's Hit & Run Speedway?

Thinking about it, I think Universal having the theme park rights to Marvel and Simpsons is a huge blessing for Disneyland fans. I think both properties work far better without the Disney limitations, and I'd hate to think how Disney would try to shoehorn the Simpsons into Toontown or Fantasyland...
I want the Electric Car of the Future! So you're saying you DON'T want us to re-skin Autopia as The Simpson's Springfield Speedway?
I want the Electric Car of the Future!
Just FYI, I know you're really talking about Simpsons but since you mentioned Marvel too, the Universal Marvel rights don't have any affect on Disneyland. Disney is free to use them in DLR however they want, provided they don't use the Marvel name in the parks of course.

I know you know, but some others take what is posted around here seriously as if its gospel. As someone who's spent 3 years following this forum religiously, I'm aware.
How could we not when Bob Jr. himself is around /sI know you know, but some others take what is posted around here seriously as if its gospel.
Fitty Dolla Bill " said:It figures, Disney can't come up with anything new so they come out with
another remake. Tarzan, Parent Trap, Mighty Joe Young, 101 Dalmations,
Absent Minded Professor, and now the Swiss Family Robinsons are being
redone. And all these within 1 or 2 years! Enough already Disney, get some
real ideas.

Oh you mean like Universal producing a land like this with no real theming but cardboard cutouts :I'd like to think that people take my ramblings that seriously, but I worry that'd be wishful thinking on my part... but to clarify my earlier mention of Marvel, it was more focused that we're able to see high quality Marvel attractions that are done in a different way than Disney would.

One thing I can say, is the no matter how I feel about Marvel Land at DCA today, at least the concept art looks a whole lot better than what I see in the picture above.
I'm still reserving opinion until I see more info on Phase 2 at DCA and until GotG at Epcot opens. As lame and overwhelmingly late '90's as Uni's Marvel land is I think it's almost all but certain that it's going to kick Disney's Marvel land's @$$
The only comparison that can be made is that they both use the same characters, which isn't a comparison at all. Comparisons should be made between GotG at Epcot when it opens and Spider-Man at IoA, that's my opinion anyways.I very specifically mentioned "attractions" in my post... and by every indication, the Spiderman attraction Universal built is WAY better than any Marvel attraction built by Disney. I'm not here to defend Universal's ability to design lands... and I'm certainly not going to compare something they built years ago to a single piece of concept art released by Disney.

Looks like we're getting Disneyland Railroad LEGO set soon
