Is it a coincidence that this is a Matrix thread...which has turned into a comparison with "cool, upcoming" movies...and Hulk has yet to be mentioned :lookaroun

hehe, Dan mentioned cheesy Neo CGI...

What about a whole movie dedicated to a cheesy Hulk CGI

(awaits flaming)

OK I`m back! I have to say I loved it,even better then x2! I`ll give it a 9!
The only thing that kept it from being a 10 is the long diolog and that the"TWINS" didn`have a big enough part in this movie sort of like the "DARTH MAUL" syndrome! KEwl charcter but not in it enough! :D

Oh man, I REALLY WANNA SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Mom and Dad aren't sure if they want me to see this because of the "R" rating. Do you think it would be appropriate for a thirteen year old to see it?

Personally I think it`s ok for a 13 year old to see it,the only bad part was a s.e.x scene between neo and Trinity, but you really don`t see anything and you do see a womans chest, that`s as bad as it gets, there is alot of violence in it aswell.

I just saw the movie. I would give it a 9, the CG Neo wasnt actually all that bad. The whole Zion part was slow, and held no relevance to the rest of the story. But overall it was a great movie.

I don't mind violence too much. If you see a woemen's chest you don's see her *clears throat* ( you know what I mean ) do you?

you do see full but through a mesh type clothing, and you only see it about 3 or 4 times. Also stay for the end, they show the preview for revolutions at the very end.

STRONG 7...only cuz of a weak storyline....

..i think a LOT of matrix fans will be disapointed..it doesnt even FEEL like the first movie...

Just got back from seeing the movie...here are my thoughts:

1: Plot: Eh...it was a little weak, mainly because there were parts that dragged some (what the hell was that dance orgy for!?)

2: Symbolism: Pretty nice, if you picked up on it. It was put in carefully and gave the movie a nice touch.

3: Plot Twists: INCREDIBLE. All I'm going to say is especially the end. ;)

4: Fight Scenes: GOOD LORD! I'm still recovering.

5: Special Effects: Killer! :D

Reason to see Revolutions: Uh...DUH, to see what happens next!

My Favorite new character: The Architect

Favorite Action scene: Neo vs. Smith, Smith, Smith, Smith *100

MY GRADE: Strong 8: The plot was a little weak, but the action scenes DEFINETLY made up for it. The only bad side was you almost started to fall asleep before your wowed with an action scene.

OVERALL: GREAT MOVIE! CAN'T WAIT TILL NOVEMBER!

DAN WHERE ARE YOU!!!! I NEED SOME HELP!!!

I found this on the matrix website:

THE MATRIX: RELOADED covers a lot of ground. The future brings sections on visual effects, the ships, the creatures, the stunts, and much more. All things evolve. For those that understand this, perhaps the following will be understood.

0xA3B1A428

For the above hex, you will need a fairly fast computer and graphics card. An appreciation of the Neb is not a prerequisite (but it helps).

EXPLICA POR FAVOR!!!

By the way, for some reason, the four letters in red were in black on the website and you couldn't see them. Now can you make anything of this?

A Global Day, Date & Hour Release for Matrix Revolutions?

Producer Joel Silver is aiming for a global day, date and hour release for The Matrix Revolutions, on November 5, reports Screen Daily.

"We're still working it out logistically, but the audience is ready," he said – no matter what way it is structured, a simultaneous global release would see one territory holding its premiere at around 4am. "The story will end in the next movie," he added, meaning audiences will want to see it as soon as possible.

Silver said that the film's writers and directors, the Wachowski brothers, are currently "buried deep in editing Revolutions."

The Matrix Reloaded Breaks Preview Record!

The dinos, webcrawlers and jedis will all be breaking a sweat when they hear the Wednesday-night preview box office figures for The Matrix Reloaded. To put it simply, the sequel smashed anything that has come before it.

Variety says the highly-anticipated sequel bowed to record grosses in late Wednesday showtimes prior to its formal opening Thursday, and first-day matinees were ringing up what executives called unprecedented numbers despite the film's R rating.

"It's become an event. The numbers I'm looking (at) on an hourly basis -- nobody has seen anything like it before," Warners distribution president Dan Fellman said. "The film is really a cultural phenomenon."

Warner Bros. won't formally report separate figures for its Wednesday night box office but instead will add those grosses into its Thursday totals, as usual.

The original Jurassic Park earned $3.1 million in first-night box office, and no film has matched that 1993 opening until now. It's believed "Reloaded" earned well more than $10 million from Wednesday night grosses alone!

The last big film to bow on a Thursday was last May's Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, which grossed $30.1 million over its first day, including night-before totals. "Clones" then dipped about 19% in its Friday grosses and went on to tally $80 million Friday through Sunday for a four-day haul of $110.1 million.

The weekend box office for "Reloaded" may be so strong that it can even surpass the Friday-Sunday opening crown from current box office champ Spider-Man in its first three days. It's possible "Reloaded" will do so much business prior to Friday that besting Sony film's historic three-day weekend performance of $114.8 million will prove just beyond reach, however.

Nope..not a clue...

The literal hex translation is £±¤( which...makes no sence

I converted the Hex to binary..which yielded:: 10100011 10110001 10100100 00101000 (if i used the ascii translation) or the literal 00000101 00011101 10001101 00100001 01000000 0000000

both of which also dont translate into anything....im triyng every possible combo here..backwards etc..nothing..

....why would i need a fast computer/video card to deal with a hex value is beyond me...my geek powers have failed :(

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Thanks I needed that!! WHEW! Thats funny stuff!

Yeah see I did something similar. I didn't know the literal translation, but I sat there for HOURS on end trying to figure out something I could do with the binary code.

The "needs a fast computer/video card" REALLY threw me off too. Maybe I'll email the webmaster. :) I'll let you know if they tell me anything.

The Matrix Reloaded Sets New Opening Day Record!

The Matrix Reloaded grossed a record $42.5 million on its opening day on Thursday, said the chief executive of AOL Time Warner. "The Matrix did $42,475,000. ... That's the largest one-day opening in the history of movies," AOL Time Warner CEO ________ Parsons said.

The one-day start puts the Matrix well on its way to breaking the box-office records for an opening weekend, says Reuters. Last year's Spider-Man holds the record for a best three-day opening with $114.8 million in ticket sales.

Spidey previously held the opening day record (on a Friday) with $39.4 million, while it made $43.6 million on the Saturday following, the biggest day ever at the box office.

...Okay I agree, what is with this part? It just didn't fit the movie!

All in all, I thought it was fantastic, enjoyed it more that X2. The fight scenes were brilliant
