So this is the story

Since the Dream/Fantasy Magic Portholes were announced me and obviously every one else have been looking forward to seeing them as the rooms have been selling better than ocean view

Does the novelty wear off??

How good is it really?

And in which room would you prefer if you had only $300 between inside, Ocean View and Verandah??

Sorry for bringing it up again

When I can't make up my mind about something I try to leave the decision to fate. Write on separate pieces of paper: inside, oceanview, & verandah. Fold em up tight, put em in a bowl, then draw one. I try to throw a little intuitive curve in by feeling each piece without looking and going with the one I get the best feel for. What you pick is the room you should have. Sounds dumb but I'm stupid-stitious so, really - no joke, that's what I would do! Lol!

May be the way to go??

Just MHO but I look at it like this; I don't like inside rooms at all. If I had a three day cruise MAYBE I could handle one. We generally book verandah cabins even if it means putting off our cruise for a year or so. For a 3 or 4 day cruise I could handle an outside cabin, but if it is for 4 or more days I need my balcony. But again just my opinion.

as the rooms have been selling better than ocean view

Some stats:

On the Magic and the Wonder, there are 155 inside rooms and 720 outside rooms.

On the Dream, and probably similar on the Fantasy, there are 150 inside rooms and 1100 outside rooms.

This may make it SEEM that the inside rooms are selling better than the outside ones, just because there are more outside rooms to fill.

Oh right, thanks for the info!

What would be your preference??

Inside on The Magic

It would have been easier to eliminate the other two if you had been in those rooms before....not making this easy on us Crush :ROFLOL:

For only $350 more, I would def go with the verandah. More room and being able to eat room service out on the privacy of your balcony is a great experience!

Also, given the opportunity you have, you can watch a video of the ocean anytime from home. Sure its nice to see the characters once in a while but I think you will definitely enjoy sitting above the actual waters much more!

Trust me, you will have enough new features on the Fantasy (compared to the Magic) that you will not feel like you missed out.

I had a similar tough time when deciding on a cabin for my honeymoon in May on the Dream so I know how you are feeling. I know your buddies back home in Ireland would be more jealous of you sitting above the Caribbean than an inside room.

Enjoy and let us know what you decide!!!

Crush you are gonna run out of time making this decision:ROFLOL:
I am still gonna stick with the verandah because 1. I'm claustrophobic and 2. the verandah would seem like it would make the room seem bigger But hey that's me! Good luck making that decision!!
