Would Tussauds be any better than any of the already existing Orlando area wax museums?

Of course, their quality is world-renowned as easily dwarf the meager offerings currently in place. Indeed, crowds will flood the streets upon Opening Day....

Already Disney has in response prepared working on One Man's Dream- the Wax Display at DS. Indeed, the merchandising possibilities are endless...

From your description, Disney wouldn't get a dime from these vacationers anyways....

That's true.

My point was just that if you get past the Disney-focused point of view on these forums, Harry Potter (and a lot of non-Disney offerings) are actually going to be a bigger draw than a lot of people around here think.

Yes, with a plethora of eager tourists and a fleet of buses to transport them all!

Not to mention a high speed rail from MCO to Tampa. With a stop in Lakeland.

Question: How far is it from Lakeland to Winter Haven?
Answer: Not far. Not far at all.

Perfect, then.

Mickey's move is next. :D

One Brick to rule them all, One Brick to find them,
One Brick to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Lego where the Shadows lie.

See, now if Bionicle were not ending this year that easily would have been MASK. :(

Cool pics

The last pic reminds me of Carthay lol!

You're right! But it's the Carillon tower at San Diego's Balboa Park near the zoo entrance. It's one of the many leftover buildings from the 1915 Pan-Pacific World's Fair held in San Diego. The carillon bells in the tower sound every 15 minutes, and play a classical song on the hour that can be hear all over the park and the zoo.

The fair also had a wild animal collection, and when the fair was over the animals were left to roam the canyons of Balboa Park and after some locals threw up some quick animal enclosures, the San Diego Zoo was born. After World War II, the zoo really grew in size and stature into the world-famous facility we know today.

Is Bionicle ending? Serious question.:lookaroun

I have to admit, I cant imagine us not going to Legoland. My son LOVES legos, particularly Bionicles. There are plenty of excuses not to go to the other parks (expense, not enough rides for younger kids, etc.), but I can't imagine saying no to Lego. And I hate losing a day at Disney.

Yep. :(

I'm sad for nostalgic reasons, but even I admit...It was dead in 2007. How may times can a Toa transform?:lookaroun

And I agree with you on LL. I'll go, but not at the expense of Disney. If anything, the time will be split. Day in WDW, day in LL.
