Yes, that's what I was trying to say. When you enter the building, you feel like you've stepped into another world, which never happened with Narnia EXCEPT when the wardrobe doors opened and you glimpsed the snowy forest. The main trouble with "Jack" is the storyline, as others here have said. TDO has got to get rid of its audience-participation obsession. People want to be ENTERTAINED. Most don't want to be part of the entertainment. It's like when Walt made "Peter Pan" and left out the part that was in the stage version where people are asked to clap their hands if they believe in fairies. Walt knew that audience participation can't be counted on - people feel awkward interacting with a film. And that's what the "Jack" attraction is - a FILM. If you count on people responding to a request from a film or pre-recorded performance, there are going to be missed cues all over the place and the show is essentially ruined. Bad idea, TDO. Audience participation is a BAD IDEA. Get over it!

Well... most people arent funny.

Do you mean with less talking skull made it seem more action or they added more action? Better flow?

I felt that there was much better flow. Very few dead spots in the narration and the bits where they call for audience participation were lessened. The Skull and Mermaid attacks happen within the first 2 minute of the show, and Jack gets there in between minute 3 and 4. Much better action and the attraction seemed to work much better.

The CJS graphic was great when I saw it in February. The line about doing this again in 8 minutes was the funniest part of the show. Is it still in there? I did enjoy the space when it was the set for the Haunted Mansion movie. You felt immersed in the film at that point. For a "Studios" and I use that term loosely, that's the kind of studio stuff they need to throw in there.

Tell that to Enchanted Tales With Belle . . . I wonder how that attraction is going over with guests . . .:/

God bless the "Ignore" button.

Yeah, but Belle can rely on two things: 1) the interaction is with a live CM, not a film; 2) BatB isn't a PG-13 franchise. People should expect it to have some elements like that.

I know it's not popular but I like this attraction, I realize it has some flaws, for one i personaly feel standing attractions feel more like a preshow in the queue. The interaction is a bit preschool for a movie that appeals to a much older audience. But I love the special effects and stage, fix the show and add some tiki room style benches and you have a nice show.

I wonder if people are leaving the attraction still expecting there would be more. Shortening it with some edits can bring the showcase to a better pace but people are still likely to presume(possibly easier now that it is shorter than before) that it is a precursor to a main show or event.

When we went to see Narnia here I actually enjoyed it. (I'm biased, I loved all the books.) But when it was over and the doors opened I expected it to be more than just some costumes/props in cases. I guess the same could be with Jack.
