The Late-Start, First-Time, Probably-Boring PTR

Hola all!

So I've made the last minute decision to do a quick PTR as I decided earlier today I'm going to tackle a full TR once I return from my trip in June. Plus we'll all be able to get acquainted before the trip so that perhaps I won't be a complete stranger by the time June rolls around when my TR goes up! :)

So, for beginners I'll introduce myself, Heather:

I've just finished my second year of university, I live in good ol' Canada (just outside of Toronto), and I am a stylist at a high-end womens boutique. And another tidbit... I'm a DVC member! Yahoo!

Now for the good stuff....
The upcoming vacation: May 23-25 2013, OKW
May 25-June 1 2013, Disney Fantasy sailing the Western Caribbean!

Looking forward to updating you all on plans and ideas for our 10 days of magic:)

I'm so looking forward to your trip report! I love hearing about trips from people my age, especially other Canadians (Toronto girl here, but I'm about to graduate from Western!). Especially excited to read about the cruise portion...my family toyed with the idea of a Disney Cruise a few years ago, but ultimately decided it wasn't a good fit with our vacation style, and not the best for our ages at the time. Can't wait to read about the things you can do without little kids! Hope you have a blast!

Toronto girl?! I'm from juuuust outside of Toronto (by about 20 mins) :) Glad you're looking forward to my report :) Around 6-8 years from now there will probably be little kids in tow so there's only a few vacations left on our own! Eek!

Just a little update guys and gals...

Don't expect my trip report to start until at least 3 weeks after we come back... I'll post a quick little 'hey we're home!" blurb, but my cousins baby is due within days of our return and its the first baby in our family in 20 years... So I'll be MIA for a while! Don't think I've bailed on you all though! I'll be back with TR fun probably by late June :)

Sounds fantastic...so envious of you to be hitting the cruise. Have a fabulous time, and I will have to look for you guys while you are down there. Can not wait to hear all about it when you return back on dry land!!!

Heather you are absolutely adorable! I have the same Aurora crown woo hoo!! Good luck getting the grey stuff at BoG, I was there on my birthday in 2012 and the day I got engaged this past February and never got it (boo)! I'm hoping you have better luck!! Can't wait till June to hear all about it! xo

Thanks!!! I can't believe its only 14 days and a handful of hours til' vacation time... It has come so quickly! If you're in MK on the afternoon of the 24th or HS the evening of the 24th perhaps we'll see each other! (But who knows considering how busy the long weekend will probably be!) Can't wait to share the TR when I return :)

Awww thanks! :) I love my Aurora crown... Thinking I may have to pack it and bring it back for a special appearance on this upcoming vacation ;) I'm gonna reeeeeallly try for the grey stuff, even if it requires a bit of a guilt trip for the server haha! I'm kind of in denial about returning because as much as I'd like to write the TR, I'd really just like to post up on the Fantasy and spend at least a few solid months sailing... Lol!

My wife and I will be on the same cruise and then we're headed to the parks for two days afterward. We're in our late 20's and I'm glad to see a couple without kids and younger than us will be there! I was toying around with the idea of doing a TR more for my own use later rather than post it, but you might have scared me off just with this thread. We'll see.
