I have a Land tray mounted on my bedroom wall. I grabbed two of them one day after eating, put it in my hooded sweatshirt and then proceeded to watch food rocks. Then a freind of mine who was a castmember at the time and was also conveniently parked behind the land pavilion took them and drove them home for me.

Wow, your cm friend is lucky they weren't caught. I would think that could get someone fired for stealing from the company. When I took an empty box home to mail Christmas gifts, my manager had to write a note to security stating I had permission to take home an empty and broken down cardboard shipping box, that otherwise would have been recycled/disposed of.

That sorta was bothering me too. It'll never be the same, but closing forever seems like an exageration.

On another note. I want the restroom signs! That way I can label the bathrooms at my house as "men" and "women". :lookaroun

And I thought you just had to see which one had the seat up?

Whatever this guy is selling, it is the real deal. Thanks to Imagineer Boy, I am now a proud owner of one of AEs seats. :sohappy:

I keep almost getting one. I'm just about to click "Buy It Now" and a little voice inside of me says "What the heck are you going to do with that?" Once I come up with a reasonable answer, I'll get one. I could use some more seating in my dorm room...

Well, AE was one of my, if not my favorite attraction at MK. I said to myself when I heard it would be replaced, that if I could get anything on Ebay (before it closed, I had seen plenty of WDW attraction memrobilia/vehicles on Ebay...) from AE, I would. The question I have is what the heck is the guy who won the monorail car gonna do with that??

It still amazes me how he gets this stuff. Is it legal? :lookaroun

The guy is legit, and what he is doing is indeed legal. He has a deal with WDW where he pays them a block rate for bulk surplus stuff that they just want to get rid of. I was in their warehouse one time to pick up a purchase and the range of stuff he had was completely insane. At that particular time he had a whole bunch of portholes and other parts from 2K subs and the old popcorn cart from studios that used to be right outside the entrance to animation courtyard. I bought a bunch of blank videotapes (erased) that previous had been used for Brother Bear. I had bought a video deck from the animation studio.

Yeah, he's not lucky he just doesn't care. He was spoiled as a kid and as an adult...he's in his forties. It was his idea, he just grabbed two and was like here put these in your sweater. Haha...I was so nervous while I had them. Noone even noticed. He used to drive us behind the magic kingdom and park behind mainstreet / tomorrowland and let us in right by the stitch exit. This was like 5 years ago...he's just one of those people that does that sort of stuff and nobody questions it. I don't get it.

But why is Mouse Surplus saying in it's auctions that The Land "no longer exists" and "is closed forever"???
My guess is that Mouse Surplus meant that the Land (as we know it) no longer exists, which would be a true statement. Then again, maybe they did put down the wrong info by mistake.

Haha. I would like to thank Mr. "TowerOfTerror" for giving me my first Negative Rep Point. I guess that's what I get for sharing a story that took place five years ago with my friends on WDWMagic.com

What's the matter? Didn't get to beat people up in highschool so you give your fellow Disney fans little E-Slaps? ROCK ON MY FRIEND ROCK ON!!!
