Disney Visa cardholders get to go to free previews of Disney films. I saw Miracle that way. Seeing a film the first time out of the box is amazing. The quality alone is first rate, much less seeing it a week before everyone else, and for free to boot.

This used to be a perk of the Disney Club. Unfortunately I was busy this Saturday, so I could not go to the preview.
Wow that is really cool. How do you get picked to preview the film? I mean there are probably more card holders than seats.

By any chance did your preview have the Revenge of the Sith trailer in it?

EDIT: Sorry, I rushed to post it without reading your last paragraph. So, let me ask that question here to anyone who DID see the preview.

The Revenge of the Sith trailer is supposed to be in front of the Incredibles but due to the length of the film and the fact that there is a short in front of it (among other variables), you may not get to see it at your particular theater. The trailer WILL be shown on Thursday night on Access Hollywood.

Wow... thanks for the 411. BTW, I read a polot synopsis of Revenge of the Sith and now I understand why Lucas calls the film "dark".

You can read the synopsis at http://www.supershadow.com/starwars/episode3/script.html

Also, on that same website, you can find plot synopsis for the future sequel trilogy (if Lucas decides to ever make them) Eps. 7, 8, and 9. The site claims these are written by Lucas, but I just found it by accident and can not varify the authenticity of it, though they look real.

Actually I wouldn't trust any info on that website. The guy who runs that site is a little wacky. He has claimed many outrageous things there like he's best friends with Lucas and all sorts of stuff. Any correct info on there was just obtained from other sites and you'll find a whole lot more stuff that is completely made up. For more accurate information try www.theforce.net or www.starwars.com.

I live in Los Angeles...there was a special preview with a Q&A after the movie with Producer John Walker and Craig T Nelson.
That is cool.
And to the SW post above, it may not be accurate but it does sound logical.
And was interesting to read.

**Spoilers***

Saw the sneak preview last night, and NO they didn't show the Star Wars trailer. They had the short called Boundin' which was excellent!!! They also showed a trailer/teaser for Cars and it was hilarious. I can't wait to see cars. Now for this one...

Was talking about it in a different one, animation movies forum, I thought the movie was really good. I wouldn't say it was "Incredible" though. I was expecting alot more from this one for some reason, maybe all the hype. If you read my other post, you'll see why I say that this wasn't as original as the idea sounded. I really felt like I'd seen it before. Don't get me wrong, I'll see it again so I can see the Star Wars trailer and I will buy the DVD when it comes out, that's for sure. It had some very hilarious surprises in it. (Jack Jack is all I'll say.) It was a laugh out loud movie, dragged in a couple of places in the beginning, but it's worth it. It was definately aimed more teen preteen adult with that PG rating that was neccessary. Trying not to spoil too much. Everyone think Spy Kids/James Bond/Indiana Jones/Batman/Spiderman while you watch the movie and you'll see them the way I did I would hope. That was what bothered me. I didn't expect to see the other movies in this. Watch for it though and you'll see it too. After everyone's seen it and looked for those things, then let's talk. We can have a discussion about which movies you thought were hidden in this one.

All in all, we really liked it, my boys loved it though and hopefully that's what will hit the box office numbers. You won't be disappointed, you won't want your money back, but you might wonder what I did afterwards, why'd they use ideas/scenes from other movies in this?

Those would be interesting negotiations.

Steve Jobs vs. Steve Jobs: The Battle for Pixar

The big question: Who would win?

the ipod....................... lol

jobs would have to make a special dvd release with the ipod somehow edited into Cars and the Incredibles.

secondly, the wand over SSE would be replaced with an ipod mini. the thought is a little scary......................

If you have a Disney Visa, just log onto the website. You should see a link somewhere for Movie Screenings. You click on it, and they will tell you what movie they are having a screening for. Then on the date they specify, you go and send them an email with the info required (name, address, etc.) and city you want to see the preview in.

It is basically on a first come, first serve basis. Whoever gets the emails in fastest is how you secure your place to see it. And you can take up to 3 people with you.

I for one wish Lucas would do that alleged final 3 episodes...7,8, and 9. He says he only had plans for 6...but he has publicly acknowledged their were 9 parts written. Plus, even Mark Hamill discussed discussions he had had with Lucas...he has mentioned this as early as the DVD premier of the original trilogy in L.A.

But now they are saying we are going to get television shows instead of more movies.

the first previews that came out made the movie look funny and charming, but about two weeks ago i saw one that was lengthy, and this movie will have a great story with it also, tying in the family emotions! it looks GREAT!

as far as not seeing the Star Wars Trailer on Incredibles....I'm gonna say that many not be the case. I think it's going to be wide spread. I'm a projectionist in FL and as far as I know...all of the theatres in the chain that I work for (I can't say who, but #2 behind Regal) are playing that on all their incredible prints. And the movie isn't long, it's 120 mins, and even then it wouldn't matter as long as the trailer is under 3:00 minutes. That's assuming that Fox has had a trailer over 3 minutes this year, if they haven't it can be longer (each studio is allowed ONE trailer per year over 3 minutes....pleasantville had a 5:04 trailer) It wont be that long, probably just a 45-90 second teaser, with Trailers coming out Christmas. The length of the movie really has nothing to do with trailer programming. We had a print of Cat in the Hat last Christmas with 26 minutes of Trailer and Advertisements....studios pay for the time.

oh yeah....I'll see it tomorrow (thursday) later afternoon...one of the many perks of building up the prints myself as they come in and screening them for quality control:p
