It might also be size too? I've never been but just from pictures the building itself is huge!

D23 looks like it's going to be a ton of announcements...even bigger than 2015. :D
Haha..I always approach the D23 announcements with some trepidation. It never seems to fail that the "bad news" outweighs the "good news". There does seem to be a lot of positives though so here's hoping. :)

Jeez, that building really does look huge. Maybe you know Space, but I thought I read somewhere that US parks couldn't use the same rides as Tokyo and Shanghai. Do you think this ride will be a duplicate or will they have to redesign it to be a different experience?

Hmm I actually have no idea. :bookworm: Mine Train and Soarin' are the same in Shanghai as in WDW so I would say -- yes? Maybe?:p

And yeah haha -- it does get hyped up. I'm willing to give myself this one, but I'm not holding my breath on Epcot pavilions...for that I want to be surprised.

Yeah, Epcot's a little sore spot for me. What they plan to do with Figment makes me think they're slowly edging him out. I think Epcot will become IPcot and there's no stopping it. Granted, some things in World Showcase could be okay, but everything else....:cautious: Of course, I'll have to wait and see. There's always a chance (no matter how small :() that this could work out fine.

It's funny that while I was really against Frozen in Norway, I've warmed up to it...and now would actually prefer that the IPs are added to the countries instead of inhabiting entire pavilions in Future World. Like Ratatouille in France is great. A Mary Poppins ride in the UK would also be welcome! But getting rid of Figment for something like Inside Out. Yeah, you lost me:hungover:

Not only that but it's really more of a jogging track than an actual theme park because Disney wanted to add E.P.C.O.T; hence the reason for E.P.C.O.T Center's name; as well as more pavilions and stuff in the future but because Disney was in its own Dark Age at that time they just gave up on and still have; at least until rather recently what with the rumors of a new pavilion at World Showcase, a new attraction for the French Pavilion, a new show building to replace UoE and the gondola system.

Yeah, I never really minded IPs in world showcase because if it's gets people in they can still learn about the culture and the customs, kids especially. Frozen still is a little eh for me because I think I would have rather seen a whole new ride than re-purposing one that is already quite old. Not that maelstrom was a great ride for me, and losing it didn't the loss of the pavilion, but it stunk of Disney making a quick buck than really putting in the effort to bring something new and really inspiring. (If that makes any sense?)

I'm not entirely against using IPs for Epcot, just the way Disney been doing it. Like Frozen Everr After for example; while it answers the need of a Frozen ride, and utilizes the technology from SDMT, it's lacking in some parts like space (much like its predecessor) and the AAs and SFX are occasionally breaking down, but that's a problem that can be fixed.

Frozen for all its popularity should really be an E-ticket, not a shoehorned D-Ticket and M&Gs -- I mean just look at Tokyo DisneySEA

You should check the thread in N&R -- martin apparently is saying it's going behind the speedway (which I'm also okay with):bookworm:

Beat me to it. :D
Question for you guys... was making a new thread a bad idea? Some people think so, but since there wasn't one already it feels like it is needed: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...o-come-the-magic-kingdom.929107/#post-7791350
