Amal the Traveler
Amal is a Moroccan traveling salesman who pulls his cart into the Moroccan pavilion in the back alley pictured here.

He is middle aged, rather rotund, and a cheery guy wearing an authentic, though colorful Moroccan outfit. He would come out for several sets during the day, and tell stories about the fantastic things found on his cart, which cart is filled with odd knick knacks and all sorts of fascinating objects.
“My friends, my friends, come view my wares! I have objects from all four corners of the world and across the seven seas. Do you see anything that catches your eye? Ahhhhhh yes… this object is particularly interesting. Do you know the story behind it? Oh, no, you couldn’t possibly, for it is a secret, a secret told to me by its previous owner, may he rest in peace. I tell you, I like the look of you, so I shall tell you the tale, as it was told to me.”
Amal would then proceed to tell Arabian folk tales, perhaps stories from or inspired by the 1001 Arabian Nights. Every object of the cart would start a different story. He would then decide at the end of the story that the object is too valuable to sell, or perhaps he would ask for some ridiculous price like five diamonds and a ruby, or maybe he would reveal some curse, whatever the case, he always manages to NOT sell anything.
Some of the objects might contain effects or trigger effects in nearby buildings that would coincide with the story; including an occasional appearance by Genie, Aladdin, or Jasmine for one or two of the stories. While Morocco has the belly dancers, I feel this would add a much needed draw for younger visitors. The random nature of the program would lead to a desire for repeat viewings.
