Jim Hill talks about how a Big Thunder Mountain TV series was almost green-lit. I suppose a Muppet BTM wouldn’t be that far-fetched.

All my professors agree most things on Wikipedia typically need a source to be verified, if there’s a source present with that information I always go to that source’s web page via the citations part of Wikipedia

I agree with tcool. It’s a valid source of information, but a lot of the information on there is uncited. I typically use Wikipedia as a way to find other sources via citations. It’s important to remember that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, so anyone can affect what a page says or even implies.
