@ThemeParkPriest will you be riding this coaster during your stay? Spoiler if you do the moment at 1:37 is just as painful as it looks lol

So I rode that one when I was about 14. I don’t remember it being super jerky, but I do remember how excited I was to ride it. I had asked my neurologist (he was Jewish) if I could ride roller coasters due to having epilepsy. He replied a roller coaster is probably the safest place to be if I were to have a seizure, because I would be all strapped in! Well, I never had a seizure on a roller coaster!
Edit: no, I’m not doing that one this time.

It's a shame too. With that backdrop and location they could've done something really amazing. Though parts of it are pretty good. I think I've ridden it 3-4 times, and every time I'm like why did I do that, but that sums up a lot of what I've done in Vegas.

Might make for an interesting future challenge 👀

Hmm, lot of films set in Vegas, sounds like something fit for a great movie themed event...
Yeah there’s a lot of potential…
Like WDW, there are lots of themed resorts…so one prompt could be to design a new one.
Or, add a new ride (or themed attraction) to an already existing resort. You wouldn’t think a conservatory would be something related to Imagineering, but the Conservatory at the Bellagio (which gets changed up on occasion) is not your grandma’s conservatory!

The finale should be to make a new Cirque du Soleil show and I will accept nothing less.

I just now made a HUGE personal "lost media" discovery. Back when I was a kid the park now known as Discovery Kingdom was called Marine World Africa USA. One of my most VIVID early childhood memories was an old walk-through exhibit they had called "Dinosaurs: A Prehistoric Adventure". It only lasted a handful of years at the park before being replaced by the 3D theater in the first wave of attractions in the Six Flags era. For the longest time I struggled to find so much as a fleeting MENTION of this attraction anywhere online. Very few photos existed. It got to the point where I was questioning if it wasn't just some lame off the shelf type thing that was only there for a season and was propped up by my own fleeting childhood nostalgia. Well holy hell, while randomly looking for old Marine World footage I stumbled on a COMPLETE walkthrough of it and I've got to say my mind is blown that it's just as immersive as it was in my loose memories. I'm honestly shocked by how much movement and detail there actually was in this thing. It's a shame it was taken out so soon because it really did leave a huge impact on me. Words really can't describe how thrilled I am to actually be seeing this footage. Go to 1:03:15
