Walt Disney is in the montage. Neil deGrasse Tyson is up front and center when Elon Musk is on the left, I'd argue that neither of them is *that* impactful on the history of the United States. Still, Elon Musk is currently the richest man in the world to my knowledge, and his companies have made incredible advancements. Maybe in 20 years they'll replace him with someone else who is more impactful on the history of the United States, only time will tell, but as of now I'd say that he fits in the montage.
Okay so not Walt Disney. Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve seen the show. But there has to be someone else who isn’t already in it that can record something.

Off the topic of WDW, but still a fun little piece of US president - Disney history.

Back in 2000, as Bill Clinton's final months serving as POTUS were winding down, a funny video was released at the White House Correspondent's Dinner. It basically showed Clinton trying to figure out what he's going to do with all his free time once his term ends. Doing random everyday chores, being bored, etc. One particular clip of the video shows him sitting down to watch a Disney animated movie. What was the Disney movie?

You gotta guess first...

Actually, if we're doing this... EPCOT harkens back to the worlds fairs of mid-century and earlier. The guiding vision of the fairs and the park they inspired was of a deeply, inextricably intertwined international community ("It's a Small World After All..."). EPCOT and the American Fairs emphasized that this community was led by an interventionist, benevolent, philanthropic United States determined to elevate the living conditions of everyone on the planet. Indeed, the projection of American soft power through culture was a driving force throughout Disney's entire life, whether showing Eisenstein around his studios in the 30s, making Three Cabelleros and Saludos Amigos to reinforce the Good Neighbor Policy in the 40s, or broadcasting the image of "Uncle Walt" around the world in the 50s.

Whatever you might think of the modern relevance of this vision, Musk has absolutely no place in it.

Funny how, when talking of Walt's vision for EPCOT, you left out the phrase "American Free Enterprise". 🤔

Probably because it equates to Capitalism. And in the case of EPCOT circa either 1966 or 1982, it's a sunshiny bright version of Capitalism called American Free Enterprise. All set to a toe-tapping Sherman Brothers theme song.

It's fun to be free!🇺🇸

I feel like this entire thread shows why the ride will probably need to go at some point. How many posts are about the actual show? The AAs? Theming? vs how many are about politics and people’s personal lives. I feel like this show causes conflicts between people in a way no other ride or show does and Disney wants to distance themselves from that
Moving Muppetvision3d to this theater somehow would be a net win for everyone.

Why would they? That space is currently the fantasia ballroom. Now I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to have a special event in a place where a infamous crook defended himself.
Are you afraid you'd be visited by a Ghost of Presidents Past?
