Wow! :sohappy: That was amazinggg...i vote for this as the illuminations replacement one day! It certainly has a world showcase feeling.

It really does have a World Showcase feel. It would obviously have to be greatly cut down in terms of the amount of pyro. It's very encouraging to see what the Disney pyro team can cook up!

I saw this show from the beach at the Poly. It was part of an annual pyrotechnics convention held at WDW. They have done it before as well, but last year they were attempting to break some kind of workd record for the World's Largest Fireworks show. Not sure if they count by time, but more likely by number of shells used. It was pretty good, but it really tied up traffic near the MK resorts and the Monorail was shut down for a while.

Ok thats the new music for the next illuminations. I will start a petition that was a great music score and the pyrotecnics were amazing. Thanks for posting I would have never knew about it.

We were staying at the Contemporary for my GF and my anniversary. We had a room around the center of the tower facing the 7SL. It was perfect. And totally unexpected. I actually was looking at the launchers for a couple days before the show wondering what they were, and then a cast member told us about the show.

Wonder why Disney dosent use the Mickey shaped ones that were in the video?

Actually, I have seen them use the Mickey shaped fireworks in a show before at MK - I have video of them somewhere (I want to say it was a 4th of July show either last year or the year before). It's funny, because when I watched the show the next day, they were missing.

The Mickey pattern shells were intended for Disney's Celebrate America. After the first rehearsal the Show Director did not like them in the show so they were pulled. The designer decided that they would fit in the APA show so they were repurposed.
