However, the Footlight Parade scene has got to go! It is embarrassing, so much so, it is hidden behind a screen.

Given the amount of plastic and silicone used nowadays, the chorus girls are actually starting to look authentic.

I hope it stays around for as long as the park. It's one of my favorite attractions and no trip to DHS would be complete without it. However I echo the rest of those here calling for more updated scenes.

I still think the Busby Berkely atrocity ought to be removed for a scene celebrating silent movies, especially silent movie comedians like Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy and Harold Lloyd (the iconic image of him hanging off that clock in his movie "Safety Last" could be an awesome AA):

This attraction needed some new scenes about 10 years ago. Here we are in 2016 and nothing new yet. It is a great attraction, but really needs some new scenes. The Ridley mannequin is a joke.

I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon. It's the icon of the park, aside from ToT being on the map last time I was there. It's back to being the central focus and especially with the recent update/sponsoring, it won't leave anytime soon. Maybe once Star Wars & Toy Story are settled we could see some real updates. It's about the history of movies, so I love seeing the old films, but I'd love to see a few new scenes.

Walt was notably a huge fan of Charlie, he'd be a great and deserving fit.

I would rather ride Jaws than Gringott's - just asked my wife and daughter which they would prefer and they both said Jaws. Like many on this board I miss rides with real sets. It was cheesy and it was fun.

I would take Jaws over Gringotts, but I would take the whole Diagon Alley expansion over Jaws.

I doubt you'll ever see anything Universal in the Great Movie Ride

Highly doubt it will leave, although I'd think the ride would get new AA's as well as new scenes.

I doubt it will go due to them making the refurb a while back they wouldn't waste more money to take it out
