The Food At Disney Is Awful

Gotta be honest, if you look for good food....you'll find it.

I have never once had a bad food experience. The only "complaint" we had was Biergarten, but that was more the communal tables and the people we were stuck with. Specifically the racial and anti-semitic remarks. :)
Anti-Semitic comments in a German restaurant? Classy.

The argument that it is impossible to get ADR's doesn't really slide. My upcoming trip is my first since MDE and FP+ and I have been a bit anxious of the fact that we will lose the spontaneity which I really enjoy. I have been looking on a daily basis and its still possible to get reservations the day of wanting to get in in most places

Yeah, it was quite a treat. As a matter of fact, the "gentleman" was fortunate that my DW was getting food with our DD, or else she would have verbally ripped him to shreds. I actually sat and laughed at him and said "Did you really just say that"?
That ignoramus was VERY lucky that you told me once we left the restaurant. You're right, I would have verbally ripped him to shreds, and then some!

We were at WDW two weeks ago. I purposefully ate one hot dog & one bacon cheeseburger while there, but there were plenty of other choices. DD is considered a "Disney Adult" & she ate chicken nuggets for every CS meal except two, just because they weren't offered at those restaurants. There is plenty of variety if you know where to look.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
At roughly $80 per plate (two dining credits) it had better not be mediocre. :D I guess if you plan for 10 years for a vacation that doesn't sound bad, but like I said in another thread I'm at WDW all the time (local). There are still better options around Orlando for less than half that.
True but we have so many faves at Disney that we rather dine there and not leave the bubble because we go only once a year or every other year. Of course if I was a local I would try other places as well. When we travel elsewhere we dine at fine dining local places, and local dives but for Disney we stick with on property faves of ours being we cannot have them more than once a year. :)

I remember seeing someone on this site post that he would not spend $50 on a filet in a Disney reataurant because he could eat a $10 steak at Longhorn instead.
To that crazy person ugh... NO! They have obviously never had a really delicious pricier steak in their life!! There is a difference as we eat lower range and high range price steaks. Love Outback but also love Ruth Chris's/Morton's and other higher end steak places other cities and in Disney. Enjoy Cali Grill, Jiko, Le Cellier, and many other great $50 steaks or cheaper ones on property. :)

As someone said, he had no intentions of enjoying WDW.

I encounter the sentiments when WDW fans visit Universal. For the longest time they had no intentions of liking the place.

Fortunately the Uni haters don't use the Six Flags meme much anymore. Potter stopped that for the most part.
How anyone could bash Universal is beyond me. I completely agree that USF and IOA don't have that same "feel" as the Disney parks, but some of the rides there absolutely blow Disney's rides out of the water. And the Express Pass option is far and away better than the Fastpass+ option.

Keep Moving Forward
Just wanted to share that lack of planning is not just a Disney issue at the Arch in St Louis and they are Turing away quite a few people who didn't realize you need ticket to go up.
