The flexible "...LOOKING FORWARD TO..." thread

Well...it may be pretty far into the future at this point, but I'm looking forward to going on vacation again. No idea when that will be, but I look forward to staying in a hotel, where I don't have to clean, and eating in restaurants where I don't have to cook, and just enjoying time with my family sans chores!

Our next big vacation is supposed to be Yellowstone...I wonder what international flight prices are going to be like next Summer.

Wow! We think alike. It WOULD indeed be great to leave our region. Stay in a hotel. Eat IN a restaurant. Looking forward to all the same things as you! ;)

Yeah, it's kind of hard to imagine at the moment. We have a lot of celebrations to catch up on....birthdays mostly, but even when restaurants open here in June, they aren't allowed to seat parties larger than 4 people unless all the people are from the same household, so we won't be able to go out with my in-laws for a while. And I don't think they are allowing international travel right now...no idea when that will open up or what the prices will be like. We may have to wait a couple of years before we can go anywhere. Even the border into Germany is closed right now, so we can't even go for a day to a theme park....not that theme parks are open anyway. It's going to be kind of surreal, I think, when things start to open up. Nothing is going to be like it used to be. But I'm looking forward to things getting better, and hopefully a vaccine being ready.

One week later from your post Steve, and unfortunately, this country has split even more. I really don't see it improving. The "resist" attitude for the past four years is going to move to the other side now. Talk of unity is followed up by criticism and scorn.
The virus has taken a back seat to the politics.
But what I am truly looking forward to is a dinner at the California Grill and Cinderella's Royal Table. It's been a year.

Summer break! I switched school districts back in November and I hate my new position, hoping to either bid on a different building or take a whole new career path; I've got lots of thinking to do over the summer. 38 more days of school!!!
Best of luck ....yet even better would be wisdom....may you receive wisdom regarding your future. 😊
