Sometime later this month since it will be birthday. I'm not giving my exact date of my birthday. I will be going out to eat for dinner at a family restaurant.

I know I will be going out to eat without anyone sing happy birthday at the restaurant. I don't mind the singing, but not in public.

We're driving down to DC Saturday morning. I plan on having a nice stroll around the National Mall, eating at two delicious restaurants and visiting some museums. It's my final summer fling.

Yup. You can't put a price on that. Down the road...when my 12th grader attends college for 4 years...maybe falls in love....maybe gets married......maybe has a baby.....a long way from now hopefully....but I'm sure we'll do the same thing. Whatever the financial cost....we'll just end up paying it. @dgauthier , I'm happy for you

Today my wife and I are going to Paterson NJ to see a waterfall that we've never seen before. Hopefully there is a bit of Fall foliage in the surrounding park as well.
