I'm looking forward to 10.5 weeks of not having to do pre-dawn school drop offs of my older one.
First day of October.
Wanted to do something Fall-ish tonight.
I've decided to go to my local High school to see my former band students (I teach 5th Grade Band)
perform in their Marching Band Halftime Show.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the colorful leaves, probably in a few weeks, when peak foliage season arrives here.
So in Massachusetts the leaves have only just begun to change colors as of 10/2?
Is that a bit later than many previous years?

We follow 2-3 weeks behind peak up in NH, VT and Maine. They're around moderate color at this point. Due to previous rainy, etc., summer weather, foliage got a slightly slower start this fall.
Looking forward to hiking in Westchester County NY today.
