...and I can't say I'm not ready to get off this one. I think we must need to pay our dues to the cruise Gods at some point. I'm hoping we're paid up now.

Thank God other countries are down with selling antibiotics over the counter.

Thank God Whitecaps stocks Contac Cold & Flu. And Halls Triple Action cough drops.

Mother Nature, you sure have a way with expression. Thanks for the challenge in Mahahual. I'm hoping your gift of a ship day yesterday was intended. It sure did stink to only see a soggy, windy paradise from the verandah. But I get it, there's beauty to behold even when its not what we're used to.

Headed to my folks' for a week so will be a bit before the trip report gets off the ground. Get ready for a tale of trials, tribulations, and, yeah, even some fun & giggles smooshed in there.

Oh, and to the Federales: Jerry says "Hi". Roll Tide! High five!

We didn't. I boarded with my throat beginning to hurt. First night I was sick as heck, chills then sweating like crazy. It was bad. Blisters on my throat screamed strep. It's been brutal to say the least.

One Little Spark...
That's terrible! I've been sick on a trip, and it stinks! Just see my last trip, we skipped out on La Nouba and other things because we both had...issues.

Major feels!

Still, want to hear the details, as you are on the ship I will be on in only 2 months...(does that make me psychotic?)...

Don't get me wrong, we had some adventures! The waters of Grand Cayman are still calling us. I bought drugs in Mexico (hahaha!!!), had drinks with my son in a bar on the beach in the rain, standup paddle boarded successfully in spite of the rain, wind, & waves, then watched my brother get a Mexican cabbie who spoke virtually no English rolling with laughter by reciting every dirty word he knew in Spanish. Just call us "Embassadors". Then I drove an Xrail through the jungle and swam in a cave full of bats. Oh yes. There was some good stuff in spite of the cooties from hell!

Aw, I'm so sorry you had to deal with being sick. That just flat out stinks. Hope you are feeling better soon, and I'm glad you were able to sneak in a few good moments during your cruise.
