No I see it also....it is not what you think it is. What you are seeing is the inbetween of the 2 things that do light up.

Also Disneyland is Disneyland. It is often refured to as Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom, but it is and always will be Disneyland.

Thanks for the photos! I think what bothers me about that shirt is that it's a picture of Disneyland, and using the term "Magic Kingdom", and at the same time selling it in the Florida park. People who don't know the timeline of Disney and don't see the details in the picture are going to assume that it's a picture of Walt standing inside the park where they are buying the shirt, which isn't true.

I have to agree with the others. Disneyland has been referred to as "Magic Kingdom", "Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom" and "Disneyland USA" (and all in the same spiel noless). Where do you think the name for WDW's Magic Kingdom came from? It was patterned after Disneyland afterall, why not name it as such?

As far as the shirt, I think that had they put Walt on MSUSA in WDW, it'd be something to get up in arms about. Disneyland was referred to as MK during Walt's time, so it is appropriate to associate the two (Disneyland and the MK name). I like the shirt and would buy one if I had the chance.

Thank you for posting all that, I was just fixing to. Disneyland being the MK makes even more sense today now that they have DCA. DLR = MK & DCA just like WDWR = MK, EPCOT, D-MGM, & DAK.

Alright, its time for Round 2!

One last shot of the alleyway, I love that alleyway. Its such a nice place to sit and soak up the ambience of Main Street USA. (Not to mention, no one goes back there!)

Rain is almost there!

I love that spot too! It is one of my favorite spots to go after the park closes when everyone's leaving. You take a snack back there, eat it for a while, then leave once the crowds have died down!

And you're right, no body ever goes back there. Which is why I love it even more!

It's funny, my gf bought the same shirt at our local Disney Outlet store for $9.99 about 2 mo. ago. It's crazy because when we went to the parks it was there for over 19 bucks.:lol:

I bought the shirt for the same price in a Disney Outlet in Destin Fl., in March. I like it because there are so few things with Walt on them, especially things like clothing. I wear it all the time.

So after leaving them bears that do sing, the rain had finally stopped... but not for long. We headed over to the docks that run along the bank of the Rivers of America only to get caught in another downpour.
