I suppose, but, for the most part, it is extremely difficult for history to not be out of date and 75% of the show has always, since day one, been about history. How many of current visitors have lived at the turn of the 20th century or even know what life was like back then. I think it is important that we have that contrast to better appreciate what we have today.
It has reached the point where it is no longer possible to try and update the last scene to the future because there is too big a gap in there to make it doable. You cannot update it without losing the beginning, which is just as important as any other scene in the show. It is time to upgrade the AA's, clean up the auditorium and push it as a look at the past as a historical show.
It is perfect in Tomorrowland because it is a contrast to what we are now and what we might become. Yesterday to Tomorrow. In fact, in my simple mind, it becomes more relevant to be there with every passing year.
Fix it up, show it some love and "they will come"!
