The Enchanted Forest is an attraction?

I was at the Grand Flo yesterday and grabbed that brochure. I originally grabbed it because I thought it was a guide map of the MK, but quickly realized it was a brochure about the FLE and no other land.

It does appear they are selling this as an entire attraction and probably will until 7DMT is finished.

As a brochure about FLE, well, it should be there. I'm glad it's not on the park maps as an attraction; that would be too much of a stretch.

If it's on a brochure only about FLE, then it's fine. But it would be very sad if it was on the park map, considering they would be considering a whole bunch of trees as an attraction.

Might be an ideal place to wash hands after having some sugary treats or munching on savory turkey legs in Fantasyland before heading over to Haunted Mansion and all its spookiness!

Or the new bathrooms could be a nice place to call an ambulance after eating a turkey leg. Seriously, the turkey legs have something like 27 grams of fat and tons, and tons of salt. Disney doesn't need to publish the nutritional info, so they can put whatever into the food. They soak the turkey leg in a salty brine, probably as much salt as a normal person would eat in a couple days, and could cause somebody's blood pressure to skyrocket.

Sugary treats . . . not too healthy either.

How dare you speak ill of Disney you malcontent! They are so perfectly magical and wonderful, my goodness, how do you get through your life on a daily basis sunshine?

Not only that, but didn't you know you're talking to Disney's biggest PR spinner since Meg Crofton herself?

Picked up an MK guidemap today. Enchanted Forest is not listed anywhere.
In other news, I was surprised that the Epcot map doesn't mention the Seas pavilion's tanks, dolphins, or other exhibits anywhere, neither as an attraction or even in the description of the Nemo ride. That's something I think Disney could easily promote as a legitimate attraction.

I can't agree more. I feel really guilty but it wasn't until about a year ago until I went in there and was BLOWN away by the size of that place. I honestly thought it was just Nemo with an exit aquarium...

I still think they should finish the New Fantasyland upgrade with a NEW Peter Pan attraction...they are moving and upgrading Snow White, a far less popular attraction to a modern mine car ride, so why not build a new Peter Pan attraction...a bit bigger, longer, more extravagant and with DUAL tracks to better handle the crowds.
This would fit easily BEHIND the new Fantasyland along with the originally planned, Pixie Hollow, which is sorely needed especially considering the continued Tinkerbell video releases. Both would be built behind the scenes, unlike the current upgrade. After checking out the new Fantasyland (and aerial maps), the restrooms at the end of Belle's town could be redesigned so that the town continues back farther (the town's too small anyway), maybe adding a small book shop (you think?)? They'd have to add another road bridge to eliminate the road behind the area, and tunnel the train (perhaps), otherwise the area behind is huge and would easily fit a new attraction and and an expanded Pixie Hollow...gosh, there'd probably be enough room for another Mr. Toad and Belle's town could magically turn into early London.
And with a dual track Peter Pan (same ride each track like Mr. Toad was) the ongoing popularity could be possibly met. Then Pan's existing space (and it's restrooms) could be used for a new dark attraction (which we need more of), like Princess and the Frog.
The budget for the Plusing of the Peter Pan queue then could be put towards the NEW Peter Pan.
The Peter Pan ride will continue to disappoint guests with it's inadequate ride capacity and more-so as park attendance increases as a result of the additional area created by the new Fantasyland. This idea would solve that (and then some), modernize Pan, place Pan in a same themed area near Pixie Hollow, FURTHER INCREASE PARK CAPACITY, and drive guests to the back of the park. DO IT DISNEY.

I agree! I've been advocating a major upgrade for Peter Pan for some time now. The ride as it is is IMMENSELY popular - every time I go to WDW, it has huge lines - and yet it's just a very dated, but very charming, old-fashioned dark ride. Park guests really respond to it though. Imagine plussing it with Wizarding-World technology while retaining its fairy-tale charm. Actually, its tech should surpass Wizarding World - the film on that ride is a bit grainy, and 3D would help it a lot - and the ride should begin and end through the Darling children's nursery window, and the guests should exit through a starlit British garden, with Nana barking in the distance and the chirping of crickets. Little touches like that are more magical that a lot of speed and noise in my opinion. Things don't have to happen rapid-fire for a satisfying, immersive experience. Look at this video, for instance:

That is very simple, very mellow, and very magical. Wouldn't it be great to experience a ride with that kind of imagery and feeling? That's what a new Peter Pan ride could be like...

I have not read a guide map in some time, but I wonder how long the mention of the aquarium has been missing. Knowing Disney, I could see the aquarium description being blamed for why people stopped showing up when so much of The Living Seas was shut down and thus not included to this day.

And the area BEHIND New Fantasyland would provide plenty of space to do this (and Pixie Hollow)...
walk through Belle' village into the London area described by Magenta Panther above into the Darling's home where the line splits into 2. I'd hate to mess with 3D and 3D glasses, though, however after seeing what they did with the Jack Sparrow hologram at Hollywood Studios (I was convinced it was a real cast member dressed as JS, until he disappeared into thin air) they could incorporate THAT into a new attraction very effectively (a new age of animatronics). And with all the space, the attraction could be longer. The amazing little London scene could be enlarged and shared by both lines and the ride could start AND END in the Darling's nursery (instead of being left in Never-land).
I sure hope they don't waste the money plussing the old overloaded attraction and instead concentrate on a new one...and Pixie Hollow...along with the return of the (also) twin-track Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (which was also themed/based in England) which would fit in there like a glove.
I also wish they could find a place to bring back Mickey and Minnies house...I just can't fathom the park's icons not having a personal meet and greet.
Mr. Toad, and Mickey and Minnie's house STILL exist in Disneyland...
You know, there's enough room back there to steer left for London (for Pan and Toad), right to Toontown or go straight to Pixie Hollow.

What freaking forest? I've been to the new part of FL half a dozen times and do not remember a forest. I don't even remember a bunch of trees.

Where is the forest?

Guess I should look at maps sometimes. Or pay attention to the boards. I just wanted to experience it all like I would have if I'd just come for the first time.

OK everyone I have the answer...I went to WDW's website and confirmed that the Enchanted Forest is NOT listed as an attraction under the details for the Magic Kingdon. Bam...Answer found. And you know what they say about the internet. Everything that is on the internet is true. Now as for the maps....The "Everything Must be True" must not be followed there. :)
