I'm thinking he has some solid sources but overstepped on this one...
I'm sure there are people in the company who are down on frozen and could influence his opinion in that direction.

Frozen 2 is tonally far more in line with what Maelstrom had to offer. They should lean into that, especially with the mountain rock troll things and the native people. Do a smaller size retheme and both parties will be happy.

I'm not crazy about the Elsa the White costume either. I hope they go back to her original dress soon.
