Oh Hey, A dress code!
Oh Hey, A dress code!
It was this amazing before you had kids. It was called Pleasure Island and it was full of amazing. It's been idle for almost 7 years. The Edison has all kinds of potential written all over it but we really don't know yet. The Indiana Jones bar looks like it will be a fun place to hang out at night. The Boathouse is already awesome as a restaurant but the nightlife (acoustic guitar players) is a yawn. So before you plan that grown up only trip, let's see what other surprises are coming our way. Because we need more than just this. All the new stuff coming to DS makes me wish I it was this amazing before I had kids. I need a grown up only trip once it's up and running.

I went to Pleasure Island several times before I had kids and the only thing we liked was Adventure's Club. We are not dance club people and the Comedy place was too tame for us. We like bars with good food and quality drinks.

We can hope... and pray.
It would be nice.

If you watch the movie Tomorrowland, it explains it. They were co founders. <grin>So The Edison has a room named after Edison's rival, Telsa? Anyone else find that a bit odd?

I guess I am in the minority, I never like Pleasure Island. I only went there twice. I just did not like the feel for the place, it felt to much like one big bar. Both times I went there where waiting lines to get into must of the clubs. I think I will like Disney Springs much more.
Missing 8 Traxx, Adv Club, CW, and Mannequins. I really hate that this area sat unused & like a tomb for so many years.
Oh Hey, A dress code!
I imagine it's a matter of ego at this point. Disney has to prove that all of Please Island had to die.The sad thing is Adventure's Club would hit right in with the direction of Disney Springs.
Confused. Was it announced that there would be a dress code? (I would like there to be.)
The Edison LA has one; nothing for DTD was announced.
I would like there to be one too.
