The Dream That You Wish Will Come True : A February Engagement TR

Hi lovies! I am so happy to finally be getting to this TR and share this story with you all! Prior to this trip my than boyfriend and I took our last trip to WDW in November 2012 for my birthday. I had hoped the entire trip we would get engaged than but sadly, it didn't happen. The day we left to come home I made a wish in Cinderella's Wishing Well..

Little did I know that just a little over 2 short months later the dream that I wished, did come true! So without further ado, here we go!

For those of you who don't know, Ryan and I have been together for 4 years, this trip was to celebrate our anniversary and was Ryan's idea. We first came to WDW together in February 2010 for our 1 year anniversary and have been obsessed ever since; we are current passholders, and yes, we live in NJ! This TR will have TONS of pictures and lots of pixie dust, I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I am enjoying reliving it with you! xox

February 2010 (our 1st anniversary and 1st trip together)

November 2012 (our last trip together)

Day 1 - February 3, 2013
When we booked this trip we didn't realize at the time that today was in fact Superbowl Sunday. Normally that wouldn't matter except that my 49ers were finally back in the big game! I have been a huge fan since I was just a little girl in the early 90s and I had been waiting years for them to get back to the Superbowl. Ryan was working until 2:00 and our flight was at 6:00, just in time for kick-off, wonderful! I got dressed in my 9ers best, which allowed me to meet lots of "friends" at the airport, flew through security and we waited at the gate. Thankfully, we were on JetBlue so I was able to watch (and cry while doing it). JetBlue also had $1 drinks for the game, woo hoo! By the time we were about to land the blackout had happened, and well, you all know what happened, we lost. I was so hoping up to see Colin Kapernick in the parade at MK the next day and Ryan was hoping it wasn't Joe Flacco because I find him attractive (LOL).

Anyway, he made our way to ME and hoped the bus for Pop. We had stayed here on our first visit together and since it was our 4 year anniversary trip we decided there was no better place than to stay where it all started. We checked in to the 80s section on the 1st floor, put our stuff in the room at grabbed something to eat in the food court. Before bed Ryan kept asking me where we were going in the morning, I said Magic Kingdom obviously because I wanted to be there for the Superbowl Parade, he said good and off to sleep we went. At the time I had no clue what tomorrow would bring, but boy oh boy, surprises were in store!

We had lunch in Morocco last time we were in the world. It was really good. The belly dancer came out and I had to go to the restroom. I came back and there was about 100 pictures on my camera of the belly dancer. Needless to say my husband was not left alone with the camera anymore:eek: On another note, my daughter was brought up there and taught to belly dance, well as much as a little girl can.

Is it bad that I didn't even know where the restaurant was in Morocco? The food looks excellent though!

I love your henna and your bow!
There are two restaurants in Morocco, I know you are there now, hoping you try it! I love my henna, they do such a great job! I got my hands done again last Sunday when I was in Epcot!

I've never been to Restaurant Marrakesh! Definitely looks pretty good! Except I'm not going to lie I thought that black olive in the salad looked like an eyeball! Silly me :)

That henna tattoo looks beautiful!
LOL Jess! I assure you, I will not be eating any eyeballs!

Just found your report and catching up. First….Congratulations!

Love all of your photopass pictures, especially the one with the heart…so cute. Your henna looks really pretty, I love that they added the glitter…not sure if its intentional, but it totally reminds me the little mermaid with the colors and design :)
Thank you so much!! That particular symbol is supposed to be for music, although I like your little mermaid better!

That is such a cute story haha I was lucky, Ryan was more interested in the musicians, although I don't know why! Too cute that your daughter was brought up, she had brought up a little boy when I was there and he didn't know what to do with himself LOL

More please!
On it's way!

Congratulations on your engagement! :) I've really enjoyed reading your trip report and seeing your photos.
Thanks bunches, I am enjoying sharing this with all of you!

Wonderful pictures! Congratulations!:D

Well let's get back at it shall we?? I have been nursing a torn paraspinal muscle for over 3 weeks now and spent last Friday-Tuesday night in WDW for the cheerleading worlds. Happy to be back in action so I can share the rest of my story with you all!

Now, where were we?? Ah, yes, lunch in Morocco. After lunch and getting my henna it was time to use our Test Track fast passes, it was our first time being on it since the refub. Although we still don't think it's great, it is an improvement. We decided afterwards to head over to our favorite, the Rose and Crown, for a visit with our buddy Carl. On our way we noticed that a few characters were tucked away in between the Canada and U.K. pavilions. One of them being Max, one of Ryan's favorite, so we stopped for a quick picture.

We arrived to find a nearly empty bar but who were we to complain

We stayed for a while and Carl showed us some of his tricks

We decided to take our next round to go and hit the road

We browsed through the shops and I stopped to get a Flake (chocolate bar). Most of my family lives in Dublin, my grandparents didn't move to the USA until the 1960s so most of my family is still there and I grew up eating Irish chocolate..so good! We crossed the bridge to France and decided to stop for a picture, for some reason the sun is always blinding when we try to take pictures at this fountain; today was no exception.

Continuing our walk around the world we stopped to grab another drink in Morocco. I had a sultans coolata, which was kind of like a pina colada, it was super strong but good. Unfortunately after a few sips a fly decided to go for a swim in my drink so that was the end of that. We made it to Mexico, I'm pretty sure we only stopped in Germany for Jaeger, and took a boat ride with Donald. As we walked over towards the Odessy building the sun was starting to set and it was beautiful out!

As we made our way towards SSE we stopped for a photopass picture.

The sky was just beautiful that night

Our day was coming to a close, but not just yet. We hoped the monorail over to Magic Kingdom to see Wishes. When we arrived at the TTC we learned the MK monorail was down. After a long day of celebrating our engagement the last thing I wanted to ride was a boat, but we did. As we waited for the boat to arrived we talked about the past two days and how amazing they had been, it's great to be in love!

For whatever reason I didn't take any pictures of Wishes that night, for once I just enjoyed it without looking through a lens. After the fireworks we called it a night, we knew it was going to be an early day tomorrow as we wanted to ride Toy Story and we all know the only way to do that is to get to Hollywood Studios EARLY!

I'm so glad your trip has been fabulous so far!!! And you were at worlds, my jealousy grows !!!!
Yes I went, it was such an awesome experience. I cheered on the CYO, Rec, High School, All-Star and Open levels from 6-24, I also coached, and now I judge. One of the girls I used to coach was competing with her current team so it was fun to see her, they came in 8th out of 88 teams in their division. I also got to see teams from the UK, Canada, Norway, Sweeden, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Chile, and Germany; so awesome!

Nooo I didn't judge Worlds, that is a whole process to get on that panel. I belong to an organization in NJ so I am mostly in state. I did judge the NJ state competition this year, and I have done a few nationals before.

The pictures from Epcot are beautiful! It really does sound like you're having the most amazing time. :) I'm also jealous you were at worlds! Two of my friends from my uni team were representing England.
