The Definitive (kind of, not really) DLR Fantasyland Dark Ride Rankings

Pan sets the mood for a very intimate, cheery, and... I hate to use this word...magical ride experience. You're "flying" over the sets, the beautiful starlight room, the music... Speaking of the music, it's quite pleasant throughout the entire ride. You start off with "You Can Fly," , then it kind of mellows out a bit, but it's still pleasant from beginning to end, even when you get to Hook and the croc. There's nothing scary about the ride, not to mention Peter Pan in general is very popular in pop culture, arguably more popular than the other IPs (within Fantasyland). All of these aspects contribute to the ride's huge popularity.

I noticed different reactions from guests when coming off each dark ride, and for Pan, people would say either the ride was too short and they wanted to ride again, or that it was the best ride ever and would ask to ride again. Never got crying or disgruntled faces from people coming off Pan. They were always smiling and happy, both adults and children.

I moved to Utah recently, is Lagoon worth checking out? It seemed kind of small for what they charge for tickets.

Lagoon is like a smaller Knotts Berry Farm. Mainly off the shelf coasters and plenty of kiddie rides, but a surprising amount of quiet, historical exhibits and antique showcases (mostly in the Pioneer Village area). It does have a very old wooden rollercoaster (100+ years?) that's noteworthy from a historic standpoint, and is pretty fun too.

For a Utah-raised Disney fan like myself, it was always nice going to Lagoon, but it's no Disneyland.

Lagoon is pretty cool. It has that old time feel like Knotts Berry Farm. The two dark rides are fun and cheesy. It's got a Pioneer village area that is lot like Knott's ghost town. They have a water park called Lagoona Beach. I like to go when visiting relatives up in that area.

What I want to know is did you ever let them ride again? If so, what is the trick aside from being super charming and polite.

I did, actually! I pretty much let anyone who wanted to, ride again. I also would grab a random family and let them come through the exit to skip the line.

I did it because I remember as a kid wanting to ride Pan multiple times, but the line would always be long and my mom didn't want to wait. I could relate to the guests, plus it made me happy doing those types of favors for them.

The key is luck lol. You just have to get the right CM on the right day. :)

That's so cool of you. Ok well I'm feeling lucky... I'm going to try this out next time and report back.

EDIT: I'm guessing the chances of this working are less on E tickets?
