The current fastpass line for Space Mountain (2/21 at 2PM)

The problem also is the number of FP+ slots they open up. They offer a significantly larger number of FP+ slots than they did for the legacy FP system. Attendance could be the same, but they allow hundreds of additional FP+ guests now

Yep...people seem to be forgetting they can adjust or "comfort" or "discomfort" levels at whim...no notice.

That a fastpass line that starts at the lunching pad and stretched under the structure, all the way to the berm of the park is a good thing or laughable?

Or was it something deeper...in which case I might have to take a hit of your dust first ;)
Nice job sport. Did you come up with that all by yourself? I was simply stating that the OP was exaggerating on how long the line was. Now I'm not saying that justifies the extremely long FP line, which was ridiculous. No one should be waiting that long in a FP line.

I gotta give you credit...under that little opening joke...you discovered the issue...Ace 😜

The old Fast Passes were harder to obtain, because you had to physically walk to the ride.
You could not get another until a certain time which was usually your earliest time on the Fastpass you just got.

Yes--good points. Now I remember. And true with physically having to walk to the rides, many people may have made one reservation--then got caught up in other things, or making pit stops at attractions with reasonable stand by lines, rather than criss crossing the park for fast passes. Crowds and uncomfortable heat probably did a good job of controlling fast pass numbers. Guests would be less likely to make the trek from Splash Mtn. over to Space Mtn. just to get a fast pass....especially if they wanted to hang out in the Frontierland area for a while.

And the distribution of essentially only one paper fast pass at a time obviously worked better for keeping fast pass lines down. Because we just weren't seeing lines like OP showed at Space Mtn.

Since Space mountain literally goes down every day (seemingly) the FastPass line is consistently bad. Today, I noticed Splash, Thunder, and Mine Train were down this morning (checked via app). Doesn't help.

The opening lines after rope dash at space and test track were 30+ minutes last week before they even actually opened during magic hours (no fast pass)
...which is function of the ridiculously of the rides the rest of the day and not much more. No such things existed on a wide scale for emh in the past (exceptions...not the rules)

...I also remembered how why i don't do rope drop ;)

It could also have been that another attraction was down, so guests who had FastPasses for it were able to use them for Space Mountain instead. That being said though in most cases when the FastPass line looks super long like that, it really isn't. The hold up is just where people are touching their bands/tickets and then the line moves pretty quickly from there.

This seems to be a daily occurrence...getting worse and worse.

Mechanical definitely can have an impact...but I think it's just lack of ride capacity. Thisbseems to be a pattern, not incidents.

Yes, but Disney After Hours is only $89 more. What a deal!
And for an extra $200 we can install air conditioning/power windows/phone/GPS/rear camera.

. . .
Wait let me go talk to my manager and see what we can do.

. . .
Why don't you finance if you can't afford it.

Umm...after hours is $119 a night...stop selling them short and "giving it away", please?
