The current fastpass line for Space Mountain (2/21 at 2PM)

Unfortunately this is what happens when a ride goes down. Everyone who still has FPs bunch up when the ride comes back up.
There should be a better system to try to distribute riders effected to space out their return windows. Ideally the MDE experience app could advise pass holders that there was an issue with the ride and select an alternative time for their arrival that would distribute those 500 or so people into smaller bursts of extra people arriving at the arrival window.
Not to mention stand-by gets absolutely screwed in this scenario and slows to a crawl. Sometimes the standby times will double or triple when this happens, so imagine being in that line when the fast pass line backs up. No fun at all.

Last week I witnessed this on space, RNR, test track, mine train, FoP, and Everest.
But they said " well...it's just busy this week cause the entire state of Louisiana is here...it'll be Dead next week"
...well, if I believed that for a second...and didn't know that the lines are due to longterm bad management in Orlando...I'd probably be ticked.

Cute...but you know know that line is a 40ish minute wait...in the "fastpass line"

Welcome to the world of Fastpass+. In the old days, something like that even on New Year's Eve would be seen as an incredible problem and management would be incensed. Now it is "the norm"

On our trip we had this happen on SD:MT, Space Mountain and Flight of Passage... All were backed up past the entrance and down to a sign. 30 minutes wait for each one in the fast pass line.

Since Space mountain literally goes down every day (seemingly) the FastPass line is consistently bad. Today, I noticed Splash, Thunder, and Mine Train were down this morning (checked via app). Doesn't help.

Splash and space seem to be having daily problems...
But that's only making the problem described slightly worse...not the root cause.

The old Fast Passes were harder to obtain, because you had to physically walk to the ride. Now, you just get out your phone.

And I can't remember, with the paper passes could you run around and pick up multiple passes--or just one that you had to use, then you could get another?
You could not get another until a certain time which was usually your earliest time on the Fastpass you just got. If I am not mistaken, that time would get a little earlier if your Fastpass time was later in the day.

That a fastpass line that starts at the lunching pad and stretched under the structure, all the way to the berm of the park is a good thing or laughable?
Or was it something deeper...in which case I might have to take a hit of your dust first
