Hey @93boomer how is everything your way? Leaves have peaked or just past here and now I am doing the annual battle of the leaves. The blower helps and I got me a powerful one a couple of years ago, so it is not quite as big a chore. Still, lots of leaf blowing to go.
Hey “MR Best” we are doing fine up here! I think of you all the time but forget to write. We just got all our leaves up for the last time hopefully! There may be a few stragglers but nothing like we have had. I finally got a leaf blower that I can handle. It is lightweight and powerful. You would be proud!☺️

I don't know exactly which one he was looking at but it was pretty big. Whatever he wants is going to have to wait until next year at least. We're done Christmas shopping have all the Thanksgiving supplies purchased except for fresh veggies, bought all the holiday baking supplies and just got a truck load of insulation. Broke is my middle name;)

Getting closer to broke is mine.

This one helps me to cut back on the many, many hours of leaf blowing, but it is stupid heavy.

I could not pick that one up!!! Nice but looks heavy. Mine is a smaller. View attachment 514027

I'm getting a kick out of the leaf blower challenge. :joyfull: There's a ton of leaves outside here, too, but we don't do anything with them, because we rent; and anything outside is for the landlord. But then again, he doesn't bother to do anything either, with the leaves! :p

It would take the entirety of the rest of fall, all of winter and most of spring to get all ours out of the yard and driveway with that one. I do have a small battery blower to blow off the carport. It does a great job. Surprising how much air those battery blowers are able to put out.

I know! You have a lot more trees around your lot than we do. Hubby has an electric one but too heavy for me to use. I used mine on the backyard and went through three batteries trying to get them in a pile. 🤣

Just curious -- @93boomer , what do you do with the leaves? It's all concrete around here, so I think that's why the landlord never bothers to remove them. (He paved over the front and back years ago, so that he wouldn't have to cut grass in the summer, too.) :D He's not really an outdoors type of guy. ;)
Part of our backyard is woody so we mulch the leaves with the lawnmower, then spread them back there. They rot and make for good rich soil.

I was getting ready to blow again today as the yard and driveway and road are covered again. Thought about it yesterday, but it was way too windy, and it seems when it is windy, the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.
I already had my yardwork clothes on and boots laced when the truck came up carrying the new grill.
I used that as excuse to go ahead and put the grill together and ignore the leaves, and today was a perfectly beautiful, windless, bright blue sky fall day.
Truth be told I could have easily spent the afternoon leaf blowing and put the grill together tomorrow, but no. I felt the grill must be assembled today. The leaves will still be there tomorrow.

Exactly. They aren’t going anywhere.
Grills are your life. They come first!😉🤣

My landlord would approve. :hilarious:

I'm kinda a hippie so I tend to want the leaves to stay all winter. They create warmth for bugs, which feeds animals, and when they break down they naturally fertilize the soil and grass. But my neighbor runs a landscaping business, and since we moved here he's always blown our leaves for us.

I will admit it's nice seeing the dog poop and being able to pick it up instead of wandering a minefield of poop beneath leaves all winter, though 😂😂
