@figmentfan423 If he does not already have one of these, your husband needs one. Mine arrived today. Easy to assemble, have not tried it yet, but will soon. I chose a recteq over the other famous pellet grill because of the company reputation for excellent customer service and because of the extensive use of 304 grade stainless steel in the main body of the grill.
Yeah, I know, but he already has a grill and smoker, well that's OK, like shoes and handbags, you can't have too many! I might already have one or three myself, but this one should be fun. I have never had a pellet grill/smoker before.
I just love the little bull horns handles.

@MinnieM123 more grilled food photos to come. Notice this grill arrived in time for some Thanksgiving grilling. I'm thinking smoked turkey or perhaps brisket, or both. Who knows?

My dh is doing turkey, pork butt and maybe sausage on the smoker for Thanksgiving

Is the green egg-shaped grill too small for cooking a turkey? Or is this new one more conducive to "smoking" cooking, not so much bought for the size?

Oh, I usually do the turkey on the egg grill, just wanted to try something different this year. Another toy I suppose.

I chose this particular model because there is only the two of us. For your family, I would suggest he look at the next model size up, the RT-590. It might be big enough to cook for your hungry boys! The smaller one works for us, and I might even be able to take it camping next season.

Hey @93boomer how is everything your way? Leaves have peaked or just past here and now I am doing the annual battle of the leaves. The blower helps and I got me a powerful one a couple of years ago, so it is not quite as big a chore. Still, lots of leaf blowing to go.
I suggest this for the figgy clan

I don't know exactly which one he was looking at but it was pretty big. Whatever he wants is going to have to wait until next year at least. We're done Christmas shopping have all the Thanksgiving supplies purchased except for fresh veggies, bought all the holiday baking supplies and just got a truck load of insulation. Broke is my middle name
